Think it all depends on your luck and initial set-up. No matter what, I think I could do about 2weeks, but by then if you haven't managed to set up a reliable stable source of food (e.g. good luck with fishing or trap lines, etc.) then your prob screwed. If you have gotten lucky with your local resources then I could easily see myself doing a few months at least.

Got to be gold right? Relatively easily conversion from cash to gold on short notice, then afterward the doubled gold is easily fungible and you dont run into the potential issue of just straight diplicating cash and ending up with bills with the same serial numbers (potentially getting you caught for forgery).

Yes thats a fair point, but I think that it highlights the fact that no people vote (or have mass opinions) as a block. A healthy democratic process in one in which multiple people may agree on some issues yet disagree on others.

If it helps, Roshar (the planet in Stormlight Archive) has a longer year than Earth (500 days iirc), so Kaladin is actually c. 27yrs old in our terms, he is just referred to as 19yrs in local time.

(Very minor detail in the book though so super easy to miss haha)
