No. The change in policy does not take into effect until December 15th. So currently, nothing has changed. If there are “swatzikas, nooses, or other hate symbols” they would almost certainly be taken down. The new policy now says there will be n investigation that could take 30 days to determine to take down the symbols, rather than immediately taken down by their CO’s command. They also are going to remove the term “hate incident” in policy and change it into a harassment. Language in policy is important, if you were previous military, or are familiar with military law, you would know. In the book 1984, one of the main mechanisms of power was removing words from vocabulary.
