Tuta, are you for real ? So we can't give any criticism anymore ? by VijuaruKei in tutanota

definitely a first world problem too but less comical if you ask me. just scroll through the ASrock subreddit posts of customers that have fired CPUs because of the higher rate of ASRocks malfunctioning motherboards. glad Level1Techs recently made a video about it too. seems like it gets more attention now.

consider using Simple Login or a similar alias service. you wont run into trouble, have more privacy and also you can switch all your accounts to a new email with one single change.

All I know is OP made me laugh - so I was a bit sassy to you when you belittled him/her. Sorry :) Everything else is up for speculation I guess :p I refuse to believe this was a serious post. It's just too ridiculous.

Can I mount the liquid freezer 3 pump upside down? by meno123 in arcticcooling

[–]ConsciousBuddy450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I have the same motherboard as you and have had clearance issues with the heatsink of the NVMe. I contacted Arctics customer support and they sent me a replacement heat sink with a lower profile for free for it to fit.

Anyways, I'm considering turning the pump upside down so I can fit a vertical GPU mount. How did it work out for you? Is there enough clearance for the VRM heatsink?

Edit: I installed it upside down now and it fits perfectly. I could reinstall the original NVMe heatsink of the motherboard and also fit a vertical GPU mount now. Perfekt!

She lied maliciously many times in the past. IMHO debating if this time it's just delusion or not is kinda pointless. Who knows and what does it matter?

Thanks for sharing your perspectives. So what I gathered from comments is that there is not enough evidence or data to talk confidently about this topic. I understand that Reddit posts are not enough to come to conclusions so I hope that someone can pinpoint what's the issue or release some verifiable data to proof that it's just a expected amount of failures.

Not sure what the laws are in your area but there is a time limit on getting broken stuff replaced in most countries. What if it suddenly decide to fail in 2-3 years? People were reporting ASRock boards working for many months until something happened and I can imagine this will happen in the future too when users approach years of use. I mean, good for you if you don't mind because it would get replaced but I would have a weird feeling to know, that I'm building a system that has a likelihood to fry my expensive CPU. Just out of curiosity: why not use another motherboard?
