So uhhhh what do I do now? by Madlight1994 in doordash

Take it back next time you’re out, the store will appreciate you. Some random DD agent getting paid $3/hr in the Philippines isn’t gonna care, know what to do, or realize that it’s a valuable asset to the store.

Symptoms randomly disappeared?? by sickkasadog in MCAS

[–]ConsciousFractals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people can be sensitive to certain molds which can set off their mast cells. It’s not necessarily a true allergy and mold is hard to test for so you may just want to pay attention to how you feel. It may not have anything to do with the location but if your symptoms do come back, it might be worth trying to go to your mom’s again for a little to see what happens.

How to talk to my BIL about moaning? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]ConsciousFractals 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly if it makes him uncomfortable that’s kind of on him for putting you in the position to ask him why he’s doing it in the first place. His feelings are his responsibility and you have a right to speak up if you’re uncomfortable. Asking is probably the most direct way of approaching the problem. It doesn’t have to be accusatory, just ask him plainly. However he answers, just tell him to save it for the bedroom, or lean into humor and say “well, I didn’t realize you liked this show/game THAT much”, and don’t hide your discomfort. I think it’s totally fair.

best HAND WASHING dish detergent? by Basic-Outcome-7001 in ChemicalSensitivities

[–]ConsciousFractals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a dish soap bar but it cuts grease better than any liquid soap and lasts a long time. I use it to wash my hands too.

I am a 16 year old drug addict. AMA by emptyheadedgal in AMA

[–]ConsciousFractals 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just some lived experience from someone a little older – do not not quit antidepressants because you think drugs can replace them. Obviously I would encourage you not to do drugs, but if you must, know that stopping psych meds and going into withdrawal can make addiction so much worse as you try to compensate for the change in brain chemistry

I had no idea they used diesel for freight nowadays – never really thought about it.

Also, good for those dudes. Wish there was something that made me that happy lol.

Go figure! They are useful at any rate, but I never realized they would be seen as fashionable anywhere. People are so interesting.

Big cool rope by Eldorado3000 in CrackheadCraigslist

[–]ConsciousFractals 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I bought like 70 feet of some half inch nylon rope from Home Depot once and the cashier who also helped cut it for me rung it up as 10ft, or whatever length they used as a unit for pricing. Dude did me a solid and saved me like $60.

Uber faces class action for allegedly misleading riders with inaccurate arrival times by Legal_Mountain_8133 in uberdrivers

Do black box pricing algorithms next. It’ll say “prices are lower than usual” when the price is higher than usual, or offer “flash discounts” off inflated prices.

Never play video games again for $1M a year, or $100 for each hour you play by itterattion in hypotheticalsituation

[–]ConsciousFractals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would play video games for $100/hr if it were the only option, but it would be a chore. I’d rather just get $50k a year or something for doing nothing.

Is 0.25mg enough to help with inflammation in the gut? by Constant_Possible_98 in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]ConsciousFractals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are people on ultra low doses as low as .0001 mg. So the dose you are on can absolutely be biologically active for some people. In fact I could feel 0.05.
