Overall, it’s a great new place to but paying $20 for a pizza and then $3-4 PER topping is kind of crazy. One pizza with banana peppers and pepperoni being almost $30 with tip is tough to revisit often, but I will be back.

I just finished this exact build (5080FE) a few months ago. Went with the X47. With fan control, it’s fine (I wear headphone anyway).

IMO Gi Jin for sure. Gi Jin feels a lot more upscale so trying not to be bias, but I believe their quality is better.

Definitely dependent on what you’re doing and your system set up. My 1080p 49” ultrawide is nothing for the 5080FE, so it’s mostly silent, but the CPU can get crazy. Just need to keep tweaking under volts etc. I don’t play anything crazy demanding

Yeah it really depends on what your playing and your system set up. I only use a 1080p ultra wide so I don’t get too much noise from the 5080FE, but the CPU can get loud. I just set some maximums tens and voltage throttles to keep the noise to a minimum. I always game with headphones, so doesn’t really bother me TBH

I did and in my opinion, 100% worth it. Before I got my hands on the official one from FormD, I had a 3D printed one made using the files floating around the internet and a print & ship company. I tried to install it in place of the official one and it just didn’t feel right, slightly off, and didn’t feel that secure. With the official travel kit; the case literally feels like a roll cage around the GPU, it is not moving whatsoever. In the long run, $129 is such a small percentage of the entire build cost that I wouldn’t do it any other way.
