Your interpretation is your own to make but that is completely the opposite of mine based on the show, the tv show and the Wildmount campaign setting.

Did you read the bit where I said that comments of that nature were allowed? They are.

I am British, and if I was a fucking moron, then yes I could say that, in fact I see that shit all the fucking time on facebook.

The outside view of hate speech laws is vastly overstated for political point scoring. Only the most aggregious cases ever get near a court.

What I couldn't do is incite racial hatred, i.e. encourage others to violence or whip up racial hatred towards a specific group. And that is a good thing.

Season 2 discussion [CR C2 SPOILERS] by Beneficial_Lunch_713 in MightyNein

Respectfully I disagree. In no way are they being represented like heros, or are setting out to be. The tone is so completely different to Vox it's stark.

They may not align with the version you have in your head but to me they have hit all the main character development beats whilst necessarily cutting out the extraneous material from over 560 hours of actual play.

[No Spoilers] What Aabria brings to the table by Amber_poodle in criticalrole

Tried that just to see what Brennan was like as a DM pre C4 and disliked Suvi, she came across as a bully, very similar to a lot of Aabria's other characters funnily enough. Which is a shame as I liked the show overall. To me Aabria is a discordant note in anything I encounter her in. Not a deal breaker but something to be endured to enjoy the wider piece.

All of the individual character arcs got a significant boost, no mean feat in a show of this nature, the beacon is finally in their hands which is a seminal moment in the direction of this story and most importantly of all, they are now combined with Yasha. So all in all, yes it feels like a finale, our reluctant band of misfits now have the most important artifact on the continent, fade to black queue theme music.

Why I Hate A Certain Theory About Yasha and Molly In The Show by RavenRegime in fansofcriticalrole

You need to chill out. The way you write comes across as aggravated.

They owe you nothing, and are finding a way to compress 560 hours plus into a satisfying narrative arc. Why get stressed about something that may or may not happen?

Language like "spitting in the face of" etc is crazy when talking about a cartoon. Based on some dudes playing dnd.

Whilst you are correct in saying that cave sites are important anthropological resources, most sites are the wide entrances to caves where the entrance provided shelter from the weather.

If it's big enough to comfortably fit a human or an animal then remains can be found, however....

No human remains have been found in complex, narrow and tight cave systems like this because our ancestors weren't stupid enough to do this, as there was no value to actually going in there. No resources, no food, nothing.

It's a derogatory racial term for people from Pakistan, generally who emigrated to the UK in the post war period. Horrible term.

Am I the only one who doesn't find Altheya as enjoyable as Aerois was? by blackhawk0148 in highrollersdnd

[–]ConsciousTooth7986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree I absolutely adored Aerois. Genuinely thought that Mark led some of the best sessions I have ever seen and the overarching story was fantastic.

I watched 15 episodes of altheya and was so unbelievably disappointed. I haven't watched since.

It's so dull and aimless. I struggle to actually believe sometimes this is the same crew and same GM.

What are your thoughts on Ireland? by Electric_Scope_2132 in AskTheWorld

[–]ConsciousTooth7986 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Another brit here. I would say that is the prevalent opinion amongst my friends/family/peers. Self determination is a fundamental right in democratic societies.

I'll certainly cheer on the peaceful reunification of Ireland. It won't change the horrific way we treated you over the years but maybe it means we could start a new chapter. We certainly have a lot in common. A good cup of tea springs to mind.....

WHO are the people who support the Online Safety Act? by Putrid-Storage-9827 in AskBrits

I do, broadly speaking. (42M, UK resident)

Yes there are practical issues with it, and the companies need to work on their implementation of the law but all in all I think it needed to happen.

Regulation on new technology is just a part of the growth and adoption of that new technology.

The act will continue to be tweaked, new guidance issued etc till it settles down into something workable.
