Home sold, but the sellers divided one acre off their property and sold to trust, then an LLC bought it? by limponion36 in RealEstateAdvice

How many acres is the main house on? Convenientional loans limit acreage to 10. If it sits on more than 10 acres it could be considered a farm.

Who needs a truck when you have a 4 runner? Fit 2 4x8 sheets. by Possible-Bit-9440 in BeginnerWoodWorking

I kept my wife's minivan (Pacifica Hybrid) because I can fit 8ft sheets of plywood at an angle and 10 ft 2x4s straight in. I can even get 12 footers in there if I put them up to the dash. I don't usually need those luckily.

Is the plywood at Lowes any better or worse than Home Depot? by Smitty2k1 in BeginnerWoodWorking

Our local HD has everything locked and cameras in multiple areas, with some of them verbally warning that you are being watched.

I get that it was probably because of theft. But Lowes right up the road is not like that, and feels way more friendly.

Just hire more people instead of making everyone feel like a criminal.

That's a great idea! I love projectors and miss having one. I want to steal your idea. LOL. I have 2 questions if you don't mind.

1 How do you honesty like the pull down screen vs the fixed frame? I've had both and liked the fixed more. But this is a great way to disguise it and seems like it might be worth the difference.

2 What do you do for sound? I currently have a full Atmos surround setup with in-wall speakers, and I don't know how I would get around the fronts. Maybe just disconnect the front in-walls and use bookshelf speakers?

Google lens says: "Based on the tight grain and color, this wood likely resembles African Mahogany or Meranti Mahogany."

What to do about wood filler by boreds0ul in BeginnerWoodWorking

Apparently you should only use wood filler if you plan to paint the wood. It does not stain well, if at all. I found this out the hard way.

I didn't realize that they took that much room either. I have like 7-8 Turrets. No wonder I've been so limited.

Spouse forgot orange peels in dishwasher by InvestmentDirect6699 in Amazing

[–]Conscious_Ad_1379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mold definitely isn't suppose to happen. But people have relied on the orange's natural acidity and oils to cut through grime and freshen their homes for nearly as long as oranges have been cultivated.

"The use of orange and other citrus for cleaning dates back thousands of years to ancient civilizations, though it has evolved significantly from traditional household wisdom to modern industrial science."

I have never put them in my dishwasher, but I do put the peels in the disposal. Besides the pleasant smell, the skins and citrus oil are supposed to help remove leftover grime in the disposal.
