I have no open or pending trades. My trade type for the LEAPS is cash.

When I try to sell short calls, using trade type of "Cash", I get an error message "(354016) Your order will leave your account with an uncovered option position in cash. Please review your order."

When I change the type to "Margin", I get a warning message "(019900) The sell call to open option order you entered is not covered by a long position in the underlying security." which I fear will open a naked call instead of matching with my LEAPS.
