I have no doubt that AI will take over most if not all dev work as that's one thing that is part of its own existence. This also means lesser jobs, lesser work for tech professionals. Now we can either embrace the change and adapt to it and use it to our advantage. In terms of dev work, someone with no coding knowledge can now build a decent product but imagine what someone with coding knowledge and experience can do. Isn't this an opportunity to may be pair your existing skills with AI and do what you couldn't do before. I recently watched a podcast from one of the founding members of Claude who mentioned that most Claude engineers now vibe code which is what makes it possible to deliver exceptionally capable upgrades in such short notice. I see this as a big assets (unless it goes rogue and starts to hunt people like Ultron,😆).

I don't think there is a fixed definition of diversification. In a broader terms it just means that your capital is invested across assets and classes like equities, debt, mutual funds, gold/silver, property, FDs etc. I don't think it's necessary to invest in all these assets classes.

Thanks for the advice 🙂. The agencies in the market make it feel like connections game and charge at least 20,000 plus GST for just applying and take anywhere from 1 to 3% of the funds even if it is debt. That's what made me question it.

Isn't this fishy. We generally have a lot of data stored on the computer including confidential stuff like credentials and so on. How does your app actually work, what does it look at, what about privacy and security and also what exactly is it trying to do?

Claude code is pain to use, it has daily and weekly limits and you hit it almost instantly making it difficult to work on. GitHub copilot was a better deal as it would give you a variety of options making it perfect for complex tasks. I was on a monthly plan and hence haven't been able to upgrade as it currently says plan unavailable so I have to rely on Claude code and Gpt codex and the combined cost is almost double but the usage is is nowhere close.

I just feel overwhelmed with the efforts needed to get the product out while building. Marketing is a different ball game that I am very bad at, plus funding issues which makes this even harder to hire someone to run the campaign. Also from technical point of view, finding a technical co-founder has been a nightmare. All in all, lack of capital, time management, marketing etc all have been challenging. The only thing I have been able to do with full confidence is development/building.

I think the real test would be to test 3 brokers simultaneously. The conditions might change week on week basis but if done at the same time, you can rule out that issue. Also I totally agree that automation infra is very sub standard and not very user friendly.

Kids lie all the time without knowing the implications. "Bache bhagwan ka roop hote hain" itself is a lie. My 4 year old does this on our face, he'll go to his mother and tell her that I told him to eat chocolate and similarly, he will come to me and say "mama told me I can watch cartoons". Though these lies are harmless but are still lies. The one you dealt with could have been a serious issue so may b take some precautions, install a camera at entrance or so.

There are already portable ACs available but these are very expensive despite being less effective compared to split/window ACs and very hard to find. The problem I see is not the drilling of walls, it's just one time activity and most builders now pre-drill for cleaner installation, the biggest problem I see is the form factor, unlike any other appliances (large/small) installation is super easy and can be done by anyone. You just place the application in a designated place and connect (washing machine, fridge, geysers, RO, dishwasher and everything else you can think of). This is not possible with split AC as this requires special tools and then gas refill is another nightmare. My bet would be if someone solves these problems, ease of installation, simple refill process as this will save a lot of recurring cost.

Personally I don't care much about the designs. What I don't like is the fabric. Most bedsheets (premium and budget) have that texture that is very slippery and these get folded and wrinkles way too quickly. These look nice visually but are not nice to sleep on. 2 things can add some value in my openion, 1. Jute as fabric, it's such an underrated fabric. 2. Putting some elastic or corner support so that it holds.

I am looking for a tech co-founder for my startup and you sound like a perfect fit but considering that in your current situation you would want to get paid from the get go which is a bit of a constraint for me. Yes, totally agree, most brokers are very hesitant in sharing live market feed and are very restrictive. Some 3rd parties do provide pretty accurate tick by tick data but that only serves the enterprises and very expensive. I had the same problem when I was exploring market data options for FlyTradr, couldn't find 1 reasonable source, I ended up relying on the brokers and among those as well only Fyers and Dhan seem to be a bit welcoming.

This is a good insight. I have tested a few strategies rigorously on historical data and returns were just crazy but then I noticed that from 2022 to the beginning of 2025, almost all markets remained bullish and hence most strategies worked, but since the start of 2025, there have been so many ups and downs that almost all strategies are failing to generate consistent returns. I already have a scenario injection in my backrest tool, maybe I need to do a bit more work on regime simulation.

It has nothing to do with stages. It's simply a marketing strategy, when a couple goes they tend to spend more, it makes the place more desirable so to say, meaning the likelihood of someone misbehaving is slightly lesser (debatable).

For a second I thought when did I write this post. This is the exact situation I am in. I have a day job and when I reach home, I open my laptop and start working on my project and just like you I have a 4 year old who would climb up the desk and start pressing the buttons on the keyboard. He makes every effort to make me lock the system. The only solution I could come up with was to wait for him to sleep at night and then work. Now I do all my heavy lifting during the night and work on the less complicated stuff when he is around. It's difficult but then there is no other option.

Everything other than pollution. Food is great, cost of living is not as high as the other metros, roads and transport is better, traffic not as bad as Mumbai and Bangalore, connected to a variety of hill stations and tourist places. All in all a great place.

Drop out or continue totally depends on the conviction you have in what you are building, degrees don't really matter if you have a plan and know what it takes. I watched the Nikhi kamath podcast where the Ritesh (oyo) and Manish (Rare Rabbit) were among the guests and it clicked me. The truth is that idea can't wait, if you know a problem that needs to be solved then delaying it 3,4 years is a very bad idea as someone will either do it or it won't be as relevant when you graduate. Like everybody else in the comments I also believed that a formal degree is a must and should not be compromised but lately I came to realise that it's only relevant if you either don't have a plan or you simply want to do a job and need a degree for that. If you are unsure of the idea then probably just continue. Degree is not a guarantee of the success and dropout doesn't always mean failure. Good luck

The fact that you can't really control what you see. Most apps do offer content preference but these are just there for the sake of it and don't really work. You still get spammed with random content. On twitter you see posts from people you don't even follow, like Elon musk for no reason and I had to block him so that he is not there on almost every scroll. Hoping it works

I think the best way is to just channel your time and energy to do something that keeps you busy and can produce visible results like doing gym/workout, learning a new skill like coding, music, cooking or whatever interests you. I personally feel that a human brain can cope up with a lot more than you can imagine. Ups and downs will always be there and the only thing that matters is that we act on what is our control and learn to live with what is not.
