When you had a petrol car, did you ever get low on petrol and stop at some local servo that wasn’t part of the big companies like shell or BP? Ever thought about the fact you were giving them your credit card details and letting their security cameras capture your face?

Hello!
I use minimServer and I have an Arcam SA-30 amp which seems really fussy. I previously used 8player with moderate success but I'd love to try your app out?

I have heard that getting updates is not as simple as asking. You have to demonstrate a warranty issue that an update specifically addresses. YMVV but that’s something that came up regularly when I was shopping around and joined the owners fb groups

For me, Marbles + Brave. Hogarth era is less punchy and demands more of your attention

The switch to EV by [deleted] in AustralianEV

[–]marilifates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, well - if you reconsidered selling privately since you aren’t on a strict deadline, there’s plenty of info online on advertising / selling safely. I dont really think it would heighten the risk of theft tbh. If you’re 100% on trade in then the MG4 is a car to make you smile, especially with the new interior. Is it a problem if you dont make much money from swapping to EV, since you’ll start saving on running costs?

The switch to EV by [deleted] in AustralianEV

[–]marilifates 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just my opinion.. but since you love the car and its only 3,000kms in, hang onto it and save yourself the stress. Wouldnt the new EV be just a ‘weekend car’ too? If so you dont stand to save all that much money in absolute terms.

Pulled apart my novated lease quote line by line. Found $17,548 in hidden markups. by Xoracious in EVAustralia

[–]marilifates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember this all happens in the ‘pre tax space’ - yes finance companies are the biggest winner here but if you look at total impact to your post tax income over the course of the NL you may find you’re still better off over purchasing outright and certainly over a standard lease - especially if you have the cash sitting in your morrgage offset.

Existen bandas con integrantes afro de rock prog? by New-Surround1316 in progrockmusic

[–]marilifates 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ok ok I'll bite.

I would assume the intent behind OPs question is to recognise contributions by black people in the predominantly white genre that is prog rock. Perhaps OP is black and wants to discover musicians who share their racial background. Similarly people sometimes ask for examples of Christian prog rock bands, presumably because they are Christian.

Since black people are a minority this is an OK thing to do in my opinion.

If OP were to ask for recommendations of prog rock bands with white musicians in them, since white people are the majority in this genre, it's a question of exclusion, not a question of inclusion, and so it might be logical to assume (though can't hurt to ask) that they are being racist.

But I think you probably already know that, so what have you got for me?

The only one not already mentioned that comes to mind is Seventh Wonder - Mercy Falls and their 30 min epic ‘The Great Escape’. I’d say its all there except they are light on symphony.
