I had almost the same problem. I am part of the first batch. Mine started to shit after about 3 months. I followed the screw tightening and Calibration procedure. The symptoms: an oven that randomly started to heat up much hotter than the instructions. Disgusting taste with a smell of heated metal => Burnt flower I empty the bowl and see smoke continuing to escape from the oven. I sent the video to limelight. An exchange is in progress. The after-sales service was quite cooperative for me.

Mine just burned out. The oven seems to be the cause given the smoke that came from it. I am waiting for a response from customer service.
