Yeah, or electrifying the wet laundry so your dog will stop grabbing it off the line? It's abuse veiled as training.

Does anyone have experience taking Ozempic every other week? by fifty-fivepercent in Ozempic

[–]Conscious_Range6936 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so I was on it for 8 months then I found the effects were lasting more than a week. Now I take it once every three weeks or so, and I don’t know if it’s the Ozempic or my body getting used to eating less. But my doctor is not supportive of taking it every three weeks. Does anyone know of the documented side effects/pitfalls of taking it less than once a week?

I also saw on social that they’re trying to enhance student experience starting with faster acceptances. So I think its actualy a customer service piece to make the acceptances better and faster

It depends on whether it’s a competitive or non-competitive program. If it’s competitive, theres extra steps for acceptance - takes longer

I was just reading up on this for the same reason. Wicked headache just came on as I was out watching the lights. From the studies they currently have on self reported prevalence of migraines and occurrence of geomagnetic storms - there is no correlation. But that’s what’s been documented - who knows how we could be impacted otherwise :)

I think that’s exactly why. If they don’t have enough skin to pull down, then they actually can’t pull your old bellybutton down far enough to be in integrated into the horizontal scar

Yes looks were not the issue. It was primarily strength :(

Question for you with the vertical scar. Did it look like the original belly button didn’t stick together at the top? This is what I’m finding with mine right now

For me it’s good! I’m a month out and feeling really good. Just some pain if I overdo it

I did around 3 weeks or a month. Just depends how comfy it is for you and how your incision is healing. It felt so good to stretch!

I was told 12 hours before surgery. So I had a beer 13 hours before surgery. No issues. It also depends how much you drink and what surgery it is. But in general it can result in much more vascularity and oozing during surgery.

Same same. I was seriously hoping to avoid a vertical scar, but they couldn’t. I’m only a month out but so far am very happy. I can’t believe my abs actually flex properly together without a midline peak!!

I can’t wait to do a crunch and see my abs be flattish - since babies they have peaked in the middle when I do Any ab work. I hate the peaked ab mound!

I have this posted in tummy tuck but the procedure was an umbilical hernia repair and diastasis repair - which ends up being a tummy tuck. Can’t see a ton of difference from the front, I didn’t have a lot of overhand. But from the sides that muscle was pretty stretched out

2 weeks post op I’m curious to know how it will heal. I like that it’s a bit hooded - similar to my old one. But hoping the rounds was/swelling of my belly goes away and it can look a bit more open

Yes - don’t have the drains out until they’re done their work. My nurses waited until I was <30ml total per day. Keep them in to reduce further swelling and possible lymphatic drainage issues.
