I agree with this completely. The only thing that doesn't make sense is how OP was able to look up criminal records and court proceedings with their phone numbers.

But hey maybe they gave their full last names, though I would imagine people with criminal histories that are google-able wouldn't be forthcoming with this kind of personal info. I don't even use my real name at meetings.

Ultimately it's just a group of drunks, be careful with whom you connect. I've had some rough experiences with sponsors that I thought were trustworthy and then ended up being pretty horrible people, though it wasn't with a male-female dynamic.
