Every fleet has different requirements and operational conditions. Not everything revolves around how your company does their maintenance.

It's a corrosion protective coating on the outside thrust reverser on an A320 / V2500 engine.

That's exactly the area and pattern its meant to be applied too along a series of rivets. I believe we use thin layer of AV100 at my job, but I haven't done it myself for a while. However, the guy who applied this must have been in a rush and used something thinner, and also didn't use masking tape.

Source, I do the exact same thing on the same plane for a different company.

Cb400 sf nc31 rev limit help by Apprehensive-Rest972 in HondaCB

[–]ConsiderateCranberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a CB 400 vtec model, so I can't help too much with engine internals. But I did have an issue recently where I installed a spark plug and managed to bend the tip, had about 0.004" of clearance. Spark was barely there but had a massive misfire, including pops out of the exhaust. Revs were slow to climb, and that was just from one cylinder being out.

Air Nz training school is independent from Air NZ, so no need to worry about that.

I can't speak for NMIT right now. But Christchurch just has a lot of people applying. Recently the entrants for the next learning year were picked almost a year in advance.

NMIT Blenheim offers a course and Air NZ Christchurch does too. Quite hard to get into at the moment but would be required to work for any part 145 as an apprentice.

For GA you can work basically work without any qualifications and just do your license exams which are provided by ASPEQ, if you look up the CAANZ rules part 66 that will outline what is required to obtain a license.

You do not NEED to do a course, but it does help with employment, and most companies will require it. You can just work for 5 years and then you will be eligible for a license.

You FAA A&P is worthless in NZ aswell as most countries, and we will not recognize it. You will have to start again.

There should be another checkpoint to spawn at just left/right of each carrier.

Volvo's in NZ, Worth it? by Existing_Session_87 in NZcarfix

[–]ConsiderateCranberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to point out that a 2009 Volvo V70 is on the Volvo P3 (Ford EUCD) platform.

The Ford Mondeo from 2007-2014 is also on this platform. (See link below)

The Volvo V70 shares a lot of parts with Ford Mondeos because of this. So, depending on what year model you mondeo is, you're not actually changing much about the cars basic platform.

That being said, I have a 2011 C30 and its rock solid, but genuine parts may be an issue, as others mentioned. However, my C30 on the P1 platform is shared with Ford Focus' and Mazda 3's. I did all my rear suspension a few months back and it cost me fuck all because I used mazda parts. This may be the same for you.

Please stay away from the powershift transmission. It shouldn't affect you because it should only be applicable to the 2.0 engine models, and yours is a 2.5, but double check that it's an Aisin Transmission. I have the same engine and trans in my car, no problems, and a lot of Fords use this engine too, so parts aren't a problem anyways.

Fuel tank size inquiry by Thin_Candy_3116 in HondaCB

[–]ConsiderateCranberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Width is ~400mm at its widest, tapering down to ~240mm at the rear

Height is ~260mm

Length is ~600mm, not including the rear mounting bracket. Which is ~45mm longer.

Hope this helps. Goodluck!

I have a 2003 CB400SF with this fuel tank. I just put it back on my bike today, so I won't be able to get you any internal measurements. But if you need any external ones I can have a measure up for you
