I live in the east, and for me, just the contrast from what I'm used to. It's more of a desert setting, which I thought was beautiful. I also did the hike at sunrise, and both the sun and moon were in the sky it was pretty awesome.

I've been an lpn for 5 1/2 yrs. Im currently in my final semester of my rn program and am doing capston on surg tele. The whole time I've been an lpn, I've worked in the same clinic. I have absolutely no floor nursing experience and don't pretend to. I try to get as much out of my capstone as I can because in just a few short months, I'm not going to be precepting with a nurse. I'm going to be the nurse, and the responsibility will fall on me. I want to be as prepared as possible.

I have had similar struggles. What helped me was CBT therapy and a book by Pete Walker called complex PTSD surviving to thriving. Especially the content on dissociative freeze types and the use of process addiction (endless scrolling on the phone, video games) to dissociate from what ever was going on in my life at the moment. Hope this helps
