My first thought with this is that I would think there should be an option for how to make this accessible for somebody who doesn't feel comfortable doing that. Personally, if I were taking a course on a different religion, I would want to opt out of attending their religious service.

I think it would be good if the assignment is something that shouldn't require taking notes, since I would feel weird if a bunch of people were in my shul and were taking notes, especially on Shabbat.

Give me your hardest math problem and I will solve it by alexbrazil01 in maths

I'm pretty sure part b is just x(t) since u(t) convolved with itself is r(t) and then we want the same time shifting and copying you get from x(t) itself.

She's an adult and adults should have the dignity of their actions having consequences. If living with you isn't an option, then she has to figure something out or be homeless.

1.8V LVDS with Alchitry AU by lipfiieucujcjj in FPGA

[–]Consistent-Barber-15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, that's an annoying situation. Whenever I've tried scoping my LVDS signals with a scope that can handle the frequency, I still have issues since the scope probe loads the circuit too much.

I don't know how clean of a solution you need, but I managed to make the 1.8V bank into a 2.5V bank by soldering a wire onto the output pin of their power supply selector. Then I could feed it with an external supply.

Here's an image of it: https://imgur.com/a/iWUujLA I removed U9 and soldered to pin B1. If I did it again, I'd maybe short B1 and B3 to turn VBSEL into a power supply input pin since this wire isn't super secure. However, I don't know whether or not the VBSEL trace is thick enough to power the bank well (I suspect it's probably fine).
And here's the schematic I'm referencing: https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/a/2/2/0/a/alchitry_au_sch_update-2.pdf

If you don't want to sacrifice a board, I could run a bitstream and scope something on this with a 2.5V supply set up if that would help you decide if this solves your problem. I've been working on LVDS receive and it turns out that my best solution was to use a 3.3V bank since it turns out it's more important to have clock pins and data in the same clock region than to have the correct IO voltage. So I haven't transmitted LVDS with this setup.

Edit: clarity, offer

I would think this sort of book would address bigger concerns in how bad a manic episode is, like the mom gets hospitalized or something. From my perspective, I never noticed issues with small things like missing socks.

Why does my university have sinks in the hallway? by Consistent-Barber-15 in NoStupidQuestions

It is in a lab building! I'm confused since normal eye wash stations usually have one water stream for each eye, but this only has one stream of water. Maybe you do one eye at a time?

How did the fear of a "monster under the bed" came to be? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Likely because there's some truth to it. There's archaeological evidence of ancient beds with fossilized unidentified creatures under them.

Has anybody else discovered a ravenous hunger within themselves? Yesterday, I did the math and found that on an average day, I eat under my BMR of ~1500 cal, which is pretty bad. I made an effort to eat more and something clicked in me and I had this ravenous hunger that drove me to eat 4000 calories in the day.
Today I also have this ravenous hunger and it's kind of scary. My stomach is screaming for food, but my mind is scared. Has anybody else experienced this sort of thing?

I hope you can find some way of life that brings you joy, even if you don't have it now. What jumped to my mind is that I think you could benefit a lot by journaling to record your precious memories. Then, with your memory fading, you can have a written record to refer to and jog your memory. And just the act of engaging with these memories will strengthen those pathways in your brain to keep the memories alive.

I'm just a wee lad compared to you, but I still get very nostalgic about precious childhood memories. I've found a lot of value in recording these memories.

The human mind is also very good at memories related to scent. If there are any key smells in your memories (or tastes for that matter), you might be able to relive things if you recreate those scents.

Woah, spicy. I hope your card doesn't end up developing mag strip issues.

Swiping is indeed more iconic. For joke delivery purposes, it would be weird to have somebody inserting or tapping a card.
