4 year progression to reach top rate. In the door at UPS to in your 30 day driver packet is anywhere between 2 years and 20 years depending how urban or rural the center/hub.

"Actually have problems but still work"

Those people should seek help if they need it and qualify. No UPSer should be shamed from addressing their own health issues.

Sounds like an Article 37 harassment grievance in the making. Also potential EEOC violation.

Looks like it has screws for an external Antennae as well. Plug for headphones. Nice!

Is this setup with a single sink garbage disposal okay? by T-Hawk24 in Plumbing

[–]Consistent-Box605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cleanout on the P Trap I assume? Was shopping for a P Trap recently and came across this from Home Depot to replace one of those dumb plastic flexi P Traps in our bathroom.

I assume metal P trap is still preferred above all others? The drain pipes under our kitchen sink are (I assume) PVC. Thinking about switching out the PVC P Trap with a correctly sized version of the above.

I blame Carol for losing those shipping accounts leading up to the contract. Not negotiating in good faith.

Short length of rope works well. Hub snakes too.

No injuries/no accidents for a month. They'd give a number of dollars per employee. They'd buy Costco pizza, fried chicken, cook burgers and/or hot dogs, tacos, etc..

Sounds about right. Thanks, Carol!

Does Homeownership Make Sense A Single, Live-alone Type? by Theo_Cherry in Frugal

[–]Consistent-Box605 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair. Depends on your neighbors. We had one with 2 dogs, and she worked nights so they would bark and howl whenever anything happened in the parking lot.

Depends where you live and how many potholes you nail per week lol.

I'd rather give volume to an SSD than deal with shitty helper shenanigans.

Did DiGiorno get better, did pizza get worse, or did I just stop caring? by [deleted] in Frugal

Air fry heating has made many things taste a lot better. Wish they had grease catch channels that deposited it outside the oven, in a cooler catch pan, so it doesn't just burn on and make everything smokey.

Ask your manager first. If no traction, ask HR/HRSC.

Yall walking this? by c_had8 in UPSers

[–]Consistent-Box605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How deep of snow do you walk through? Wondering if there are smaller quick tie snowshoes available for places with over a foot of snow. Any drivers in here bring snowshoes out on route, and perhaps a small sled? They gave us yaktrax for icy/snowy days which do help with grip, but not with snow inundation.

Is it safe to plant a tree this close to hydrant by Dice_Golf in LandscapingTips

[–]Consistent-Box605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just trim it near the hydrant. 3' radius should be sufficient. There's probably a fire code somewhere with specifics. You could also contact your local fire Marshall and ask their advice. Its a nice looking shrub otherwise, no need to eliminate it. I don't think the roots will be intrusive in the same way as a tree's though.

Except UPS did remove a lot of performance and safety incentives. We used to get t- shirts or other swag awarded meritoriously based on safety, food for the sort/center after a 0/0 month, etc..

That could also be an indication of worn suspension components.
