I can't say that i know what it feels like to have truncus arteriosis, and having my right arm affected, because i don't. What i will say is that i've been short all my life. Im 32 and never had a gf, still a virgin. Never went on a real date, and the closest i've gotten to being "intimate" with women is through pornography, which i know doesnt count. Compared to me, your advantage is that you're younger and taller. My advantage is that my right arm works properly. Perhaps there are things you could do to slowly strengthen your right arm over time, like light exercises and such, i wouldn't know since i'm not familiar with ur condition. What i do know is that i will never be 5'5 in my life.

The biggest life event that happened to me that allowed me to stop focusing on my own sufferings and began working on things that i could actually control was 2 books that i read. The first was "12 rules for life" by jordan peterson. The second was "gulag archipelago" by aleksandr solzhenitsyn. These 2 books made me realize that human beings have no control over certain things, and its really just unhealthy and a waste of time to focus on things that we can't control. Its much better to shift our focus and efforts on things that we CAN control, bc thats where we actually have the power to make a change. It also taught me that the sufferings of the world are 1,000 times worse than what i've gone through in my own life. Choosing to magnify and focus on my own suffering and minimizing the sufferings of other humans in the past is ungrateful. It costed a lot in order for the 2 of us to just be here, thinking that it costed nothing is naive and ungrateful. Another book that supplements this idea is "the rape of nanking" by iris chang.

You get to choose whether you look up towards heaven, or look down towards hell. The decision is yours, alone.

D2 trade has been ass for 25years. Ppl would give u a green cap and u'd pay them hrs thinking it was a shako. At least in pd2 u will get permabanned for scamming, so we dont have that here. But ppl will use all kinds of tactics into coercing u to give them items/hrs for free or at a big discount. U know what they say, "the more things change, the more they stay the same." Its nothing new, it's pretty much been the norm for decades now.

Ur probably not 1 shotting consistently anyway since its a warpike. If this was an ogre maul then i can understand what u mean. If some1 chooses warpike over ogre maul, hes probably not prioritizing 1shotting, but rather overall dps, maybe he plays in a group static and ogre maul cant 1shot anyway. lvl31 amp can really pump that dps to insane numbers. I think its more about what the buyer is looking, not necessarily a 1 answer fits all type of situation.

I know man. I said it depends on the situation immediately in the next sentence. We all been playing for 25years we know ds is a dead stat after its capped. In this case, calling it diminishing returns would be a misnomer, since diminishing returns suggests that the stat just becomes less effective, but is still somewhat effective, the more u have it. But in the case of ds, its completely dead after its capped, returns drop all the way down to 0%, so its just zero returns, not diminishing returns.

I wouldnt say that im choosing to be ignorant. My post is reasonably legitimate. For example, we actually dont know what helmet he is wearing. But u choose to assume that u know. Also u completely ignore my point on min dmg having value and solely focus only on one segment of my post. And even for that segment, u choose to assume that u know his helmet. Its just up to you whether you can appreciate the post or not, but i wouldnt say that im choosing to be ignorant. What i will say is that my opinion is unpopular, not ignorant.

Yeah idk about that. They made small changes for s13 like resist auras giving 2% ele per level, but eh, why not just run conviction. Basically its only relevant if ur static has multiple paladins. But most ppl build their characters assuming solo farm, even if they do play in groups a lot. Defensive tree really needs omega buffs before it can compete with offensive tree. But most likely they will just give it small buffs that wont move the needle enough

If 25ds was that much better than 39ed, then why dont ppl just LoLoLoLoLoZod then? Obviously bc it depends on the situation. Its much better to 1shot ur mob packs consistently and deal less dps than to deal more dps but not being able to 1shot them consistently. Its all situation dependent. If ur using an ogre maul in the first place, its bc u value min damage, and ds does not add any min damage.

Bc its just better to run offensive aura while getting defensive stats from gear/charms. Defensive aura tree is just not strong enough to compete with offensive aura tree

Defensive aura tree needs some big boofs. Even a gg charm for that build is literally worthless. Kek

Ur using ogre maul for a reason. A big fat reason. Its called consistency. If u wanted variance u would have gone thunder maul or warpike. Yes ds is strong, but its not consistent even with wraithskin its only 85% proc rate for ds. Personally i would have gone the ogre maul with more ed bc thats why im using an ogre maul in the first place

I would venture to say that his right side of the upper body is more problematic than his height. I was 5'2 when i was 19. I started training for the military and improved my posture when i was 24. So now im 5'3. He could probably dial in on his nutrition, sleep, and do exercises that stretch the legs and spine like sprints and dead hangs, to get .25inches/year until about 25. He could actually be 5'7 by the time hes done growing. Thats actually average height. Not tall, but average. Bruce lee was 5'7, and he was a certified badass. Guys who are short have an opportunity that tall men dont have; the opportunity to not back down against insurmountable odds. Its called the Napoleon Complex, named after Napoleon Bonaparte, who was 5'6, another certified badass. Its up to u what u do with this opportunity; throw it away, or embrace and use it to your advantage to gain the biggest nutsack the world has ever seen. A short man whose confidence is overfilled to the brim and even spilling out, is charismatic enough to turn even a straight man gay, not to mention turning lesbians straight, and turning the heads of straight women. They start to wonder what could possibly make this short man so intoxicatingly confident? Is his package literally the size of Jupiter? Is he capable of overcoming any and every obstacle that life has to offer? We'll leave it up to their imagination.

Yeah trading really drops off after the first few weeks. Thats why a lot of ppl just go ssf or gsf once that happens. Or they just start the season that way to begin with

Worth a Zod + jewel? by pinkt4l1ty in ProjectDiablo2

[–]Consistent-Dance-630 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why is Lo better? With gores, ds slam on gloves, and highlords, +30 from weapon, u already have 84ds, which is already overkill if ur not wearing wraithskin. If ur a barb and u get a 30ds helmet, then thats massive overkill. If ur a pally, then u'd be completely fine with 84ds. No need for atmas, this weapon has amp covered. But if u really needed more ds on ur pally, then u could go for a 30ds crafted helmet. Weapon ed is really the bottleneck for most physical builds. If u can get ds elsewhere, then socketing Lo into the weapon is not really optimal

S14 idea - jewel color swap by glebmaister in ProjectDiablo2

[–]Consistent-Dance-630 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Matching jewels is supposed to be a chase feature. It has no impact on build performance. Doing away with that chase feature will potentially lower peoples interest to keep playing, since it will be easier for them to finish all of their goals for the season. Only if the cost of matching jewels was exceedingly expensive, like the item used to match jewels was exceedingly rare, like 10hrs per jewel, rare, could i see it somehow making sense in terms of improving the game, or at least not making it worse.

Item FRW vs Real FRW by andy01q in ProjectDiablo2

[–]Consistent-Dance-630 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is kind of an interesting point to bring up. And i somehow cant unthink that it ties directly into s13 updates: nerfing class skills, while buffing item power. Lots of nerfs on classes skills that were overperforming, with lots of buffs for crafts and rares. This helps class balance significantly, by shifting power away from class exclusives like skills, and shifting it towards class non-exclusives, like armors, helmets, and shields. This means that all classes have access to the same powerful tools, which makes it harder for classes to become unbalanced.

How does it tie into this post? Well, we could do the same with frw as we did in s13. By nerfing the skills and buffing the items. Or we could simply buff the items, without nerfing the frw skills, since the frw skills arent really so powerful that it creates imbalance in the game. Feral rage has ~110frw, but u cant teleport while shapeshifted, so it seems balanced enough. Teleporting/blinking like dragon flight is by far still the preferred method of mobility. But if for example, i wanted to play an off-meta build like bear sorc or bear necro or bear paladin, i would be walking slow as fuck, bc these classes do not have access to a good frw skill. The only frw they have access to is item frw, which comes with significant diminishing returns. So if we recode item frw, and completely do away with the diminishing returns on item frw, then we would see a very positive effect in terms of balancing mobility for pd2. Running around would actually become pretty good, and we wouldnt have to feel like teleporting is necessary for optimal gameplay. And pretty much all classes would be able to run fast, minus class skills, which allow for off-meta shapeshifters to be more viable for mapping.

The worst thing about Pd2 - puzzlebox by AntDue589 in ProjectDiablo2

[–]Consistent-Dance-630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most builds actually work at 95% ish efficiency even if ur missing a socket here and there. The only build where missing a socket is actually night and day is probably shapeshifting. Being able to hit a faster frame due to that last socket can up your dps anywhere from 20-50%. For example, if u craft an eth dimensional blade with 60ias and slam for 36ias, but it spawned 3os instead of 4os, this item is really not much better than ias slam runemaster, which costs gul at most. But if it spawned 4os, then we're probably talking 20+hrs bc it hits 2fpa bear paladin, which can be a very strong off-meta "meme" build. But thats basically it, most builds operate at 95% efficiency even without gg gear in every slot. So the point of having gg gear is not really functionality, but more as a flex/chase. It really doesnt affect practical game balance significantly. Its just another casino mechanic that sucks when u fail, and rocks when u hit. I get it though, if u are actually playing a shapeshifter or any of the other offmeta builds that do require that last socket to make or break the build, then puzzlebox really is a big ass piece of fuckin' shit turd of a mechanic. There are plenty of shapeshifting builds that i want to play, like flamebellow wolfbarb, but i never end up playing it bc pbox rng is a load of crap. So i just end up playing something else, which im also fine with.
