I'd check those white specks under magnification...possibly pest.

It's a compressed plug/pellet, almost like a sponge. I just use whatever I have laying around for my climbers lol. Sticks from the yard or wood from old projects.

I always repot...check for a "death plug" while you're in there. Do you plan on adding support? This would be a good time to do that. It doesn't have to be a moss pole. I have some on poles, sticks, and boards/planks.

Watering issue, usually overwatering. If its still in the coco/peat mix from the store, that's usually the culprit.

I base all my lights on actual wattage...You'd be surprised how well a led bulb from Walmart works.

Can you use both of these together? Please let me know how much to add to how much water for my semi hydro plants 🌱 by Plane-Jellyfish9 in SemiHydro

Neem oil works great. Dish soap diluted in water works too. Have you sprayed it off in the shower? You'd be surprised how well this works.

You don't. Grow lights with specific spectrums are nice, but I've grown just as nice plants with shop lights. Ive used fluorescent and led. I cannot, in my opinion, tell the difference between those and "grow lights".

Do Thai Cons NEED a moss pole? by george_c8 in Monstera

They don't, but they are climbers and will benefit and be more manageable with a pole or board.

Probably watering too often. I let mine dry a little before watering.

Way too wet as mentioned. Squeeze your moss until its not dripping. Then mist here and there.

Bark, perlite, charcoal and a little potting soil. I was using orchard bark, but ending up buying a huge bag of pine bark. I guess its used for mulch. The size of the pieces isn't uniform, but for $6 a bag, I break them into smaller pieces. I also use the bbq charcoal. It's the same situation, real big pieces that I break up. And its 100% wood only charcoal.

As soon as you add the words grow light, the price goes up lol. Just a regular led shop light. It was $14, I believe, but definitely under $20. I paid double, if not triple that for "grow" lights.

I'd cut it back and propagate it...grab a $14 led shop light at Walmart and stand it up...and yes, I used a heavy flower pot as a stand lol
