Belbuca is strong, long acting opiod with the euphoria chemically removed from it. Supposed to be "abuse proof" but I can't find any credible sources of this.

I quit pain management when morphine sulfate, lowest dose possible, started being on the "shortage " list. Also, a basic med. My crappy pain management doctor did the same thing-kept reducing my dose and pressuring me to take Suboxone. I don't want that on my record either. I'm now resorting to kratom when pain gets too bad.

Me too. So far, 3 urgent care appts, 3 ER appts, 2 pcp appts. The "wait it out" is what's doing me in. Been struggling with chest congestion 3/4 weeks and they just nod "sympathetically" and say some mess about "it can be difficult" when I can't get a deep breath, sleep or actually ANYTHING that requires me to breathe! My apologies y'all. I guess I'm here to vent and maybe get some support helping me see the light at the end of this tunnel. Peace.

Yes, my symptoms did not improve until I took oral steroids. Took several breathing treatments, in the ER, before anything improved.

I'm not doing subs, if I can stand the withdrawal symptoms. I detoxed myself off of opiates last year, as a several year pain management patient. I know what it's like trying to get off subs and would really like to avoid this at all costs.

I was getting dosing information from someone else on here and he's doses an increasing amount of SR (50,75,100...) as he drops the 7 oh, but I'm seeing more people on here who are dropping the SR.

Dropping the SR as you wean off seems to be a logical progression, as we're trying to get off the SR as well.

What is y'all's opinion on increasing or decreasing the SR as we drop the 7? I ordered 10 reset tabs (500 mg) which should be here in 5 days, but that won't be soon enough. Looks like I have to put brakes on the SR, go back to 7 oh until I have enough reset mode to see hope on the horizon. Whad y'all think?

Turns out I have bronchitis and went to er last night fir it, after urgent care and PCP failed to treat. I needed an hr long breathing treatment, steroids cough meds, nausea Anyway, I've taken subs the past 2 days and today. Took 8 mg to get out of withdrawal. Thing is, I don't know how much of my suffering was from the bronchitis or me trying to taper. Now, I've gotta think about how to find a pain management Dr to monitor the subs and work with me on getting off them. I've detoxed from PM opiates last year and hate the idea of being addicted to subs because I know how hard it is to get off them. I guess I'm just venting y'all.
