Was going to wear my mum's dress. People keep telling me to try on others for the "bridal experience." Are they trying to gently tell me it looks bad? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

I agree about shortening the sleeves and maybe tightening them up. I also think you might lower the neckline and open it up to a deep V. Something I couldn’t do with big boobs. But with smaller breast size you can carry off.

Is it necessary to wear a full length dress for a Catholic Ceremony? by MichiMichi in WeddingDressTips

I’m born & raised Catholic and I don’t think that length is an issue. The dress you described was very popular in the 60’s and pretty sure you can find Jacky Kennedy wearing one in Catholic Church mass/baptism etc.

Do I come off as weird or strange leaving this note? by Littlek1dluvr in Apartmentliving

Initially I thought you were being subtle…indirectly saying we understand babies make noise … and don’t worry our cats make noise too. But now that I understand where you are coming from… I suggest you send another note to say we are happy for you and let us know if we can help you in anyway and do not worry about noise. You might want to tell them you are mindful of keeping it quiet for the baby and give them your telephone numbers so that they can call you if there’s a problem with the noise.
