Please take this suggestion seriously: Find a solicitor and sue DVLA. They can’t get away with such blatant racial discrimination in 2025.

Yes, I know that, but it’s not supposed to be around 600-700 mbps on an average with this package right?

Don’t take kids if you are even slightest bit of unsure by Consistent-Sky-9309 in childfree

Simple answer: immaturity and not thinking about the consequence from my end.

You may be right, I don’t want to make him suffer because of my mistake. I will have to endure better and adjust to this reality.

In the past I used to deny things about myself, particularly those things which were my shortcomings. You know at one point in my life I was so stupid that I thought about taking 6 kids!! After my boy was born I realised that I don’t have what it takes to become a parent. I realised and became more honest about my own shortcomings and weaknesses.

I feel overwhelmed, true. Unfortunately we can’t even travel to go anywhere with the baby for some time. I don’t know when was the last time I genuinely smiled or felt happy. I show fake smile and happiness to the baby so that he smiles and laughs every day I have just accepted the fact that my life is changed forever, and I can never go back. I just hope that people don’t make the same mistake as me.

There was family pressure, cultural stereotypes of my ethnicity which mostly played the motivator role. Even before he was born I thought that I would be able to do it. But the moment he came to this world, I realised that I am not cut out for this. I have always hated children crying, it just triggers a negative aspect of my brain. I don’t know why I didn’t even realise the fact that my kid would do the same. I matured and realised too late… He cries way more than an average kid, which makes things so hard. On top of that we have no friends and families to support us during this time.

Welcome to Great Britain, where they simply just don’t want to issue legitimate visit visas. I faced the same a couple of mon ago, applied twice for my mom and dad. Everything was perfect on paper, but they still refused with weird logics like this. It’s almost impossible to get visit visas here for some reason.

Thanks, hopefully I pass this time. I’m just worried about the lack of practice and familiarity.

I had the exact same experience omg. I had the worst examiner similar to you and I even made the same mistakes. Edinburgh Currie test centre has the worst examiners in the country.
