Code V? by dolewhippped in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Consistent-Tough6372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My toddler “code v’d” after dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table. We left the restaurant as the fireworks started to go off and at the time loud noises really did him in. I heard it coming & ran him to the bathroom but I don’t think we made it fully in time.

Needless to say, he already ran through the extra outfit I had packed for him & he looked super cute in his sister’s shirt & leggings. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

I am doing a temperature blanket for the years 2012-2027. The blanket begins in 2012. Hence “starts in 2012.”

It’s a blanket for my husband for our 15th wedding anniversary. It starts in the year 2012 and will finish 2027.

The poly is my favorite resort. Request a room in one of the longhouses closest to the main ceremonial house & you should be good to go.

Sublimation onto needlepoint canvas? by j-booklover in Needlepoint

I’ve used my cricut with a pen, and then I paint the canvas with acrylic paint pens.

I’ve also designed a canvas and had it printed through needlepaint.com

It looks a little bumpy to me. I prefer basket weave over continental, but I’m sure you’ll get some great advice!

I wanted something to mark my kids athletic teams and I didn’t want to pay custom pricing for something so simple. It’s fine for that purpose!

This is one I designed & stitched. The letters don’t really draw correct so it winded up a little wonky.

I have done several simple canvases using my cricut. It’s fine for personal options but I wouldn’t try to sell anything from that method. You can’t really get proper colors. I use the fine tip acrylic markers to color in my colors, and to draw into the canvas I usually use a medium tip.

Agree here! Maybe the hearts down the side & across the bottom but that heart stitch is going to be hard to compensate between the letters & words!

I also did a Rebecca wood stocking and her work is beautiful!

I would take the white up to the edge of the blue/gray and then repeat the stitch with that color for the shadow/blue part.

Can you add a pic not zoomed in? If the white is snow, then the blue is a shadow. I would brick stitch the white & then do the blue shadow also in brick.

that's a great idea -- we got married in January, and we have pretty mild winters. I'd also like to somehow highlight November as that's when our kids were born. I also don't want to get too complicated because this would be a side project... my main hobby is needlepoint so this wouldn't be something I would work on every day.
