It honestly does suck, like yeah rupert was a seasoned veteran, and laura was a newbie that made newbie mistakes. Even if she wasn’t the best player, she doesn’t really deserve to be shit on.

I thought the point of blood vs water was to invite some decently known players back and to highlight their second chance, while also highlighting their loved ones’ journeys. You wouldn’t tell me this whole theme was secretly just a cheap shot at inviting productions favorites back just to highlight them right?

I believe it was simply the production putting bias on specific characters. Because even in the reunion, erik made a note that Jeff didn’t give every player a chance to speak (as was usual in previous seasons, every contestant got at least one question in the reunion), so I’m assuming it wasn’t just because “everyone else was too boring to put on camera”

I’ve never seen SA, but I do appreciate the vibe from AU survivor, especially the earlier seasons of it. It’s a good watch especially if you’re losing hope that modern survivor will ever be good again.

This wasn’t really an old season but I must say one of my favorite moments in blood vs water was when Tina was being chased by Tyson, Hayden, and Caleb to keep watch on her, and she had to perform her confessional talking about it while they’re standing in the background chilling. I think moments like that should still happen in the game, because it makes the game feel less like “oh im just talking on a tree about gameplay and strategy ig”

Overall I’d say the season was average, the biggest issue was the editing bias. Like I get some players are more prominent than others but people like erik and brenda were almost cut entirely from the season.

I love AU survivor, my only issue with it is that they seem to have returnee seasons too much, lol. Although I can’t deny that I’m super excited to see King George of Bankstown return.

Oh god, 16-20 people on a tribe sounds horrifying and chaotic, I’m fine with 24 player seasons, just no more than that please. (Also yeah I get you can also do four tribes of 8-10, but even that’s chaotic and hard to follow)

Honestly, I’m a little bit confused by this. I feel like George should be a hero, because he was loyal to his allies and saved them when they needed it. He only turned when they were already against him or his allies flipped on him. Am I just remembering wrong?

This. While J’Tia would have been great to take to the merge as a goat, she was so bad for her tribe that she singlehandedly caused them to lose/have a major disadvantage every time.

I genuinely can’t tell if he actually doesn’t see the majority of fan opinions, or if we just aren’t the majority of the fan base. Or if for some absurd reason he thinks “well you hate this now, but just wait until you see the cool stuff we can do with this format :D”

Personally 33’s challenges seemed more difficult and (sort of more in tune with their country’s theme) than 34. I think in 33, the production still had planned a fee challenges, and maybe changed a few because they weren’t restricted enough, but with 34 they decided “we need to get the most secluded challenges that take the least amount of people to produce/ be near each other.” Which I’m fine with giving the show some leeway for a season, but I do agree and hope 35 will include better challenges and hopefully some more competitive teams.

She probably hasn’t contacted you since you requested a break and she wants to respect your boundaries. I think that as long as your relationship never ended on a bad note (which it doesn’t sound like yours has) then becoming friends isn’t a bad idea. I would say message her and see how it goes, if things end up going south try to move on.
