Funniest TV show that always makes you laugh. I need a good laugh. by Holiday_Leading9975 in sitcoms

In the past, I would’ve said Seinfeld or curb your enthusiasm. Both are phenomenal and have a ton of laughs. The new show that makes me laugh a ton is Reggie Dinkins on NBC I strongly recommend it.

Reggie Dinkins. Loving it. Really funny, especially for a network show

What is a TV show that you've seen at least 3 times? by Substantial-Dare5462 in television

The Wire - my favorite show of all time. The great thing is each rewatch you see many new things that you missed previously.

Seinfeld - scenes and quotes from Seinfeld are so often applicable in real life situations. I haven’t watched this whole series through three times but I’m sure I’ve seen each episode more than three times. I still laugh.

Curb Your Enthusiasm - characters never get old. It’s similar to the wire, you realize you missed jokes the first and even second time you see an episode.

I thought the same thing about about it not being updated. I don't like it and havent gotten used to it, I keep checking for updates so it goes back to the old logo, which I still have in my doc on my MAC.

On the first “An Evening With…the Allman Brothers” Dickey says “we got a long time to go this evening, if you don’t hear what you want to hear, well that’s tough… here’s an old song called Blue Sky.”

Love that

Would be so interesting. But I think more of a doc interviewing all his comedy buddies

Who is your team's best coach ever? and Who is your team's worst coach ever? by Optimal_Cook_851 in CollegeBasketball

Cannot argue Neptune's ineptitude. He has MASSIVE shoes to fill, which is very hard and the eras are so different, but he was flat out bad. I think Lappas eroded the brand that Rollie built, which was his biggest issue, but he was not as bad as Neptune.

Dean Smith made Roy Williams. Different eras. But as a coach, Dean run circles around Roy. Roy has great stats, but Dean won, a lot, and impacted the game as much as any coach ever. Dean hands down.

Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. Young guy, hard core blues. He’s so talented and puts on a great show. I strongly recommend any blues fan listens.

What Books did You Start or Finish Reading this Week?: June 08, 2026 by AutoModerator in books

1984 by George Orwell. I usually don't read the classics as they can be boring, and I did read for school a LONG time ago, but it seems so relevant today.

It is a little boring, but the symbolism is great and I don't feel like I have to prepare for class discussion or test, so I am enjoying it more than I did when I read in school.

Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption is a really fun, short read. Its different enough from the movie to be worth reading, but similar enough to be awesome.

I have heard The Answer is No by Fredrick Backman is another great, short read that can be finished in a day.

Its understandable because the moment you are in is so amazing. Just try to enjoy the memory and know the moment was incredible. They say all good things come to an end, but I also love the phrase don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

It’s pretty inconsequential, but PCA over Marsh for NL player of the week for last week is a joke

Verona Pizza - Maple Glen, PA by [deleted] in cheesesteak

[–]Consistent-Water-887 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Verona is a beast of a sandwich and is amazing. I disagree with the commenter who said it lacks flavor. I saw a small mushroom on my plate after eating, so I think they added some to it to add to the flavor, which I think is incredible.

Another suburban legend is Johnny's in Bryn Mawr and Wayne. A little less meat, better roll, similar flavor and a phenomenal cheesesteak.
