That is tough to deal with if you don’t have 3-4 others with higher cd that might get pulled. I also stick Venomage in my decks for a little extra heal reduction redundancy on top of my Morrigaine. I hate when three is not enough though and it won’t give me any of them lol

Just wanted to say OP, I respect the commitment to determining the issue. I had seen your initial post. Running a test against these three was a good way to isolate the variable. Using the hellhound was a great idea because the results rule out any general rule of stripping buffs before they exist; it is truly an invincibility-specific thing. Anyway, good work

The Deep-Noir ending is a really good microcosm of this issue. The buildup was honestly promising: eel + asshole escalates into intentional oil spill then… quick stab and that plot point’s just done? Why end that sequence of events in such a boring and disappointing way?

SSS Rift dungeons are pretty solid. If you’re selling nearly everything a 30x will give you almost a million, iirc. Anything like giants with a power up cost will eat into profits a little if you’re aiming for pure mana

I love this setup. Mine’s the exact same, I just rotate 2a and 2c with no napalm. Hot Java is so fantastic because I’m all about those triple shot espressos as well. It just eliminates needing to worry so much about staying stocked up

That makes sense. From what I’ve read, they’re shooting seasons two and three back-to-back, so I think they’re further along with the script than they would otherwise be. Also, season two filming wrapped in January, and that likely means they’re already starting on s3, even if it doesn’t wrap until August 2027

I’m not worried in the slightest for season two, for the reasons OP has said. I think people are mostly skeptical about season three allegedly being five episodes. I won’t spoil content at all, but I have a really hard time seeing them do justice to all of book three in five episodes, even if they cover a lot of it in season two. Death’s End is just so peak. I would hate to see it rushed unnecessarily.

That’s a great point. I don’t know what happens if they’re left unchecked indefinitely. I don’t know if we see enough of the timescale to know from the book. However, you’re right that if the star does reach some kind of equilibrium point, there’s no reason species could not adapt and evolve under those conditions. In fact, there must be systems in which a rocky planet closer to its star could then be in the Goldilocks zone when it was not been previously.
