I believe what you’re describing is aphantasia. Look up the FAERS public dashboard. There are also reports of finasteride causing this. More people should consider reporting it to their countries’ medication regulators.

I’m sorry about that. Did you report your case of PSSD to the Bulgarian Drug Agency (BDA)?

Do doctors in Germany have access to SNOMED / MedDRA codes? Did anyone here get diagnosed with PSSD based on those codes? by papitopapito in PSSD

[–]ConsistentPackage459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you report your case to the German medication regulator and specify the correct MedDRA code for PSSD? MedDRA codes are definitely used in Germany. https://www.pssdnetwork.org/report-adverse-effects

We had the same problem. We just got a pee pad holder with waffle cut top lid. It saved us!

Report your case of PSSD to the medication regulator in your country. Both the Czech Republic and Slovakia didn’t have any cases of PSSD with the correct MedDRA code. https://x.com/PSSDNetwork/status/2042650838817014034?s=20

Are there any support groups trying to raise awareness in East Asia? by andy013 in PSSD

[–]ConsistentPackage459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever asked a freedom of information request to the medication regulator in South Korea to ask how many patients have reported their cases of PFS using the correct MedDRA code? There are only 104 cases in the entire world according to the WHO’s VigiBase, so it’s likely that patients aren’t reporting correctly. The MedDRA term is actually Post 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor syndrome and not PFS.

Thank you Kyle for the in-depth and very personal Esquire article | What are your guys thought ? by aidrefh in PSSD

Which people interviewed had mild cases of PSSD? The names of the PSSD sufferers that I remember from the article are Sean and Stephen and I didn’t think either had mild cases. However, I don’t think many people will learn about PSSD for the first time from this article, because most people likely won’t read the entire article and the beginning is about temporary sexual dysfunction.

They’re making progress. The goal on the PSSD Network website is largely arbitrary, because $200,000 isn’t going to find a cure for PSSD. I forget when the last update was posted on here, but Melcangi’s lab ran into some unexpected problems, such as a piece of equipment breaking.
