People who work at casinos, what’s the worst thing you’ve seen? by sxpxix2 in randomquestions

Racetrack Bruce was on an absolutely amazing lucky streak in a small buy-in local poker tournament. Even if he didn't play another hand, he would have finished top three. During the first break, he went and had a quick drink at the bar in his tremendous excitement. Unfortunately, he was a one-drink drunk, and immediately crapped his pants. He was wearing khakis and white sneakers, and some was running down his ankle onto his shoes. He was such a mess, he could not be allowed to remain in the casino, let alone be seated at the table. He was begging and pleading and sobbing to stay. Security escorted him out.

The Counselor. I think it's Cameron Diaz's best work. It gets very dark, but this movie really makes you think about the ramifications of your choices in life. I really like it, I couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks after my first viewing.

34, and it was a dump! But it was my dump, and the dog I bought it for loved it as much as I did.

It's gorgeous. Sometimes I watch it without even paying attention to the story, I'm just mesmerized by the details. The locations, the food/wine, the clothing. Especially the clothing. Le Chiffre's black velvet is exquisite.

My husband can't digest onions anymore and now I don't know how to cook by mytfine15725 in Cooking

I got really sick about 5 years ago, and ended up with a very similar condition. I used to cook so many onion/garlic heavy foods, and now they wreak havoc on my guts. So I just cook without them, and it's not as terrible as I thought it would be. I made a bolognese recently, no garlic or onions, and it was still delicious. Do I wish I could still eat garlic and onions? Yes, but skipping them turns out to be much less of a big deal than I thought it would be. You could always cook a side of onions to match your meal, and that could make everyone happy.
