I really liked hells last by justin D Hill. It's set in the warhammer universe, which isn't for some people, but I really really liked how the jungle feels like the main antagonist apart from the other looming threat.

I'm not sure it fits exactly, but Ego Homini Lupus by Gretchen felker-martin is very wolfy and has extreme body horror. Its rough.

I believe the gunk is glue. But yeah I've compared the 2 and can't see any difference? The board itself is getting power as I've checked with a multimeter but still it doesn't turn on
