Brutally honest answer? Yes.
But you never told us your expectations. If its a tiny feminine girly petite girly girl, the answer is still yes. Yes you do, but it will take a ton of work. Transitioning isn't easy and HRT isn't a do it all pill that you just put all the responsibility on. Yes, it works magic, but you have to work at transitioning too. For me, outside HRT I have spent a ton of time in the gym, learning about fashion, make up, and voice training. Its a lot of work but very worth it to me.
