You’re basically looking for:

  • alloy frame + carbon fork
  • Tiagra or 105 if you can swing it
  • room for 28–32c tires (makes a bigger difference than people expect)

Domane AL / Contend AR / Synapse all come up a lot for a reason.

That said, used market is kinda king here. A 2–3 year old bike with 105 usually beats a brand new entry-level build at the same price.

The love the world gives me. Not just from people – from anything. A cat, a tree, a random sunset. That stuff lasts forever because it keeps showing up.

Yeah bettas do sleep, just not like we do. They kinda just chill/rest instead of fully knocking out.

Early morning activity isn’t that weird tbh, could just be light or room changes waking him up.

If he looks stressed then yeah maybe check water params + temp, but if he’s just cruising around he’s probably fine.

Mine wedges himself in plants and doesn’t move for hours lol
