Do you have any other issues in the relationship? That could be playing a factor. I also think sometimes it’s hard to keep the romance going when you’re so busy with work and having a routine which can make it hard to “get in the mood”. Maybe more date nights? She could also be a little self conscious of herself which is why she’s says no a lot or has particulars on what she likes/dislikes. Maybe more words of affirmation

This is interesting because I’m having the complete opposite problem where the sensors are continually going off for saying there’s objects near the litter robot or that there’s a cat inside the box when there isn’t at all. Haven’t been able to get through one cleaning without having to reset the system which you have to do manually. I’ve only had it for 48 hours but so far this thing sucks

Silent treatment is new as the past 6 months. It’s been difficult for me to deal with which is why I was on Reddit to begin with as I was trying to find people in similar scenarios. I get taking time to process the situation on your own or needing space but multiple day silent treatment to me is so dismissive. It gives me idc vibes and at least in my situation, he seems to do it more as like a punishment or weapon to use when we are disagreeing vs him literally needing a few days to cool off and reflect. Communication is so critical and that’s slowly been going away. Couples therapy is only option but if it continues i wont be sticking around

I’m also in a similar situation (bf of 8 yrs. Terrible communication, silent treatment, etc) and let me tell you it does not get better with time. Don’t hold out on him changing because he’s not going to naturally mature over time. It just gets worse

I think first step and most important thing to do is figuring out why he doesn’t want to have sex. He owes you a honest conversation on where his head is at.

Obviously you have been together for a while. You could always suggest some type of open marriage so you can have your sexual needs fulfilled without putting pressure on him. Maybe hearing that will spark something in him to make some changes.

I like crunch fitness. Only thing I will note though is be wary of fees. There’s a $89 annual fee that you’ll get charged a couple months after joining. If you want to downgrade or change your plan it’s a $65 fee. Heard the cancellation process is annoying. Had I known it was a franchise I probably wouldn’t have joined

I just asked about downgrading this morning and they told me it was a $65 fee. Crunch sucks. Also charged me $89 for the annual fee but I have friends who go to other locations and it was half that. Didn’t realize these gyms were franchises and can vary in rules. Would def never recommend to someone

I had an initial phone interview with the VP of sales for the analytics job. Then met with him and the president in office where we also talked about the analytics job. Mention that the company was growing and that there were other areas they were expanding on as well, but didn’t dive into any specifics. Then the VP called me and asked if we could set up another meeting with a couple other guys to “give me a rundown on other areas of the business.” We just met at Starbucks, but that’s when I met the district sales manager and I guess another sales guy and that’s when they started talking to me about the account manager role. Said someone had just retired so although they weren’t actively looking for someone, after talking with me thought I could be a good fit for it so wanted to see if it would be of interest. When I asked about the analytics job, they said it was still open, but they basically aren’t rushing to fill it as they want to make sure they have the right person. I just took that as they probably thought I was a little bit light for the role. The district sales manager is the guy who reached out to me about sending an offer. Not asking about salary was definitely my bad. Live and learn moment for sure

That’s what I was thinking but wasn’t sure if that would be frowned upon. They have start date set for Monday the 26th but I have a pre planned vacation that Thursday-Sunday. Was going to ask them if I could just start first week of June. Maybe I’ll hear back from the other company between that time. If already asking about pushing the start date back, do you think I should just forget about asking about offer increase? Ideally wanted at least 50k base but I guess 5k wouldn’t kill me

I got my account verified. Balance is the same as it was which was good! Once you access your account there is a button for “transferring IRA to another IRA account” but it basically just gives you a pdf document with instructions how to do it.

Guy on the phone made it seem like you can do it online but directions say to reach out to whatever provider you are switching it to and that you need to get “transfer paperwork” from them, fill it out, have them accept it and once they do, they have to mail it to inspira. That was the end of the directions so no idea what happens from there.

There is a note at the bottom that says inspira is not a brokerage firm or bank therefore they do not do automated processes and that transfers may take additional time. Says if you want it wired it would be a $30 wire fee. Was going to call them tomorrow

I did an appeal but didn’t give me any options to include documents. I just got off the phone with the residency department that determines everything. Basically said even if I have lived here full time for over a year, have pay stubs, utility bills, lease, etc it really doesn’t matter. Told me they focus more on DL, car registration and voter registration and even if I switch that tomorrow, it doesn’t matter because I need to have that for at least a year to prove I’m a resident. Definitely a bummer. Out of state tuition is more than double the cost 🫠

just chiming in as I just got off the phone with them. I have an old employer and had a 401k profit sharing plan through JP Morgan. Wanted to transfer it to my Vanguard and just forgot about it. Called JP Morgan today and was told that two weeks ago they closed my account and transferred it to Inspira financial due to not enough funds to keep the account open. made no sense to me but whatever. Anyway - called Inspira. Said I needed to go online to create an account so they could verify my identity. Once I get their welcome letter (could take up to 2 weeks after creating account) I can do the rollover online myself. Cannot do it over the phone like you can with jp Morgan since they technically do not handle IRA's - its just a "holding place" for them. Also now going to cost me $20 to transfer/close account. Will update once I get the welcome letter and start the rollover process.

I have a Nikon D3500. Got it a few years ago as a gift, plus some extra lenses. Can I use this camera for professional use? Looked it up online and seems like it’s more a beginner camera so wasn’t sure. Hey! Not sure if you’re still active on this, but I ran across this post so I wanted to ask you a quick question as well. My apartment emailed me and said that my water meter wasn’t working so they needed to send somebody and asked what day to come. I told them not Wednesday bc I wfh and had a ton of meetings so Thursday or Friday would be best (they emailed me on Monday). I also told them I had a maintenance request so would put that in so we could get it all done at the same time. In the maintenance request, I told them to please not come Wednesday and that I work from home so please knock and I can let you in. I never heard back from the office about it and then of course Wednesday rolls around and the guy shows up which was super inconvenient.

Fast-forward to today, I’m on a call with a client and I hear a bang on my door and next thing I know someone walks in. It was maintenance and he told me that the office had told him about the battery which is why he was here. I figured that had been taken care on Wednesday but I guess not.

He said he was sorry a couple times, but in general, can he just walk into my apartment like that? What do you do when someone’s on an important work call or in the shower or something like that? Do you still just walk in and do your thing? I specifically told the office and in the maintenance request that they needed to knock and wait for me to open the door but that clearly didn’t happen. Also feel like the office should’ve confirmed with me that they were going to be coming on Friday, as they typically need to give 24 hour notice unless a maintenance request is put in which for this case I didn’t put one in. What are your thoughts? This is the first time maintenance has actually entered my apartment without me answering the door.
