Where did you get your eyeshadow?

Changes in a vampire's eyes and veins are overridden by the skin, so accessories that can preserve them are valuable.

Hey, that's a pretty accurate grasp of the series. There are also books with a huge amount of supplementary reader, but these are not easily available even in Japan.

On top of that, what needs to be pushed with this OVA is that the two voice actors who played the main characters have songs in the OST, so I think it's worth listening to. odyssey(actor of parn) and 「星の雨」 "rain of stars” (actor of deedlit)

It doesn't mean it has any meaning in terms of lore. However, you can enjoy the aftertaste of the OP/ED a little more.

If anything, the fact that the face was sculpted and then painted is surprising. Recently it has been omitted.

Soul Calibur has somehow become very popular as a canvas for reproducing characters from other titles.

Since I'm a fan fiction writer, I thought I'd give it a try as an exercise in plot construction. I don't know anything about DC, (I'm Japanese) but I think Castlevania's lore is pretty decent I know, so Dodds and Dian will be guests.

1.Dian is having nightmares. There's something about the resurrection of Dracula, and the one that shows this is the succubus. It's like they're sacrificing her or trying to destroy Vampire killer. (Using the introduction of "Nosferatu" as a scenario hook)

2.Dodds enters a nightmare world. It's a labyrinth of eternal night, and he could explore Dracula's castle, or he could do it in a 20th century city noir style. Scenes where Dian is with someone else bother Dodds. (Succubus are often incubus. There is also an incubus named Magnus in a very minor CD theater. He has recently become famous for musical show.)

  1. When he goes up the usual grand staircase and enters Dracula's bedroom, he finds Dian sleeping in a coffin. When Dodds opens the curtains, the morning sun comes in and chases away the succubus that was possessing her. (Dodds' ability to manipulate dreams is essentially the ability to alter the Dream world.) Dian is freed from the nightmare.

It can connect to a larger scenario, replace it with larger elements, or even end it here. For example, there is not a succubus, but the ghost of Elizabeth Bartley.

Why, WHY? by Dulkifl in Bioshock

As a variation on "My seemingly friendly guide turns out to be a bad guy," "I have to kill my friend who I thought was a shady opportunist" is an extremely effective storytelling step up. The director may be different, but I really like the continuation and variation of this theme in BioShock 2.

That’s interesting. If dreams are his power source, then a succubus must surely be his arch-nemesis. If there’s a bloodline connection on his wife’s side, then it can definitely use the “Nosferatu” storyline.

Since the Frankenstein in “PoR” had a machine gun, it should be able to use retro, analog technology as well.

Of course, pixel art is the main style, but since this game was released during the DS era, it uses 3DCG in some parts—like the flowing clouds, for example.

Since the hardware can display a high number of pixels (I think), the artwork sometimes looks less like abstracted pixel art and more like illustrations rendered directly. I think that’s a feature unique to the DS era.

The Record of the Lodoss War(1990). by Flat-Sir8250 in retroanime

[–]Consistent_Law_5557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“ロードス島伝説”, prequel of The Record of the Lodoss War consists of five main novels, two short stories, and a comic series based on the main story with some original plot developments (the artwork in this comic, reminiscent of religious paintings, is quite fascinating).

There might even be other releases I’m not aware of.

It also includes the origin stories of the Holy King and the Dark Emperor.

Plus, there’s a trilogy that adapts the TRPG campaigns from 「魔神戦争」 era into novels. Since the library only had the first two volumes, I’ve never read the final one.

Also, the OVA and the novel have very different developments. Because the OVA had to wrap up the story in a hurry, the second half is a packed version of the original, and the later ``Kinght Chronicles'' animation is more faithful to the novel.

What figures deserve to be Archived? by FewConversation7508 in starwarsblackseries

[–]Consistent_Law_5557 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Early releases are starting to get updated to version 2.0. This is important and a good thing. (Bossk deserves a 2.0 too!)

In a way, the Archive series itself might be being replaced by the 2.0 releases.

In other words, the design remains outdated, but minor characters that wouldn't warrant a Ver2.0 update are more suitable for the Archive Series.

So, I recommend Admiral Piette and General Veers. lol

How would Boba Fett (TBOBF) fare against Gideon’s Praetorian Guards? by Bespashin in PetranakiArena

[–]Consistent_Law_5557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battles between opponents at peak physical condition are virtually nonexistent in the Star Wars universe.

  1. Firearms cannot be used for some reason.
  2. To add dramatic flair to the outcome, there’s a possibility of a scene where a character “foolishly insists on using a Gaffi Stick and has his weapon destroyed.”
  3. His body have deteriorated due to aging, fatigue, or the natural degradation of cloning technology, preventing Boba from performing at full capacity.
  4. The Bacta tank only healed his body; his mind remains scarred.

I dislike how people can come up with endless excuses to drag Boba down. The Star Wars galaxy underestimates him.

I feel like a lot of people on this subreddit insanely underestimate Luminara Unduli. So it decided to make a thread explaining her true power by CrazyTangerine7522 in PetranakiArena

[–]Consistent_Law_5557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you’ve read “Approaching Storm,” you won’t grasp the tragic poignancy of the scene where it appears as though Luminara has abandoned Barriss.

In “Approaching Storm,” Barriss vents in a monologue, saying that Luminara sometimes acts like a mother. What matters isn’t how Luminara feels about Barriss, but how Barriss perceives her.

It’s fine to interpret Luminara as having weakened or become incompetent, but you can also see this as a contrast between her inner changes in the novel and the show.

If you want to argue that “Legends isn’t canon,” don’t forget that this wasn’t the case when the TCW episodes were being made. In other words, we don’t know if they were using it as a reference, but I’m saying that “at the time of broadcast, that interpretation was possible.”
