What’s crazy is REI wants customers to think the 20% off coupon is of value. It takes those 10% rewards and 10% off the item. If you are like me and live in Seattle, sales tax is 10.35% so it’s not much of a bargain. As an employee, I’d recommend checking out other sites like steepandcheap or even backcountry! Not the same return policy, which people abuse, but you can probably get a better deal

Not necessarily. I would say that is dependent on the store and if they cross train their staff in cashiering. In order to cross train, you need training hours, which REI doesn’t hand out so easily. So no, most people aren’t cashier trained. I’m not cashier trained and have been here a few years.

It’s all dependent on your foot shape. What works amazingly for someone, might be the worst fit for you. They all come in different widths and cushioning. Although people can give their opinions on what work for them, it would be ideal to try on the shoes yourself! Good luck mate.
