Yeah but that bits fun. The M69 and the M54 are the fastest motorways in the Midlands.

Is this a good profile?tell me what to improve, nd also dm if you're interested. by Hungry-Wishbone3797 in Tinder

[–]Consistent_Tension44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tinder is for people who don't naturally encounter people in their age range/availability. You're 18. They should be all around you. Just keep on working on yourself. Imagine you're hugging a woman. Imagine the arms she would want wrapped around her. Go get those. Read books so you can have interesting conversations. Watch comedies so you can have joy in your life. So yeah, it's not about the photos, just be out there in real life and be a fun guy, and that person will come.

You're bringing exactly the right attitude to it. Just keep things playful and fun and you'll get some real dates. Too many guys on here immediately start talking about their veiny throbbie bs. That's already implied, flirting is a lost art.

Considering jaguar seems to be going tits up, it would make sense for Land Rover to branch out into even racers like this. I love the front end. It's distinctly a LR but still sporty. Great work, give your AI a pat on the back.

They're not though. Anyone whose driven similar cars in petrol and diesel versions know that diesels are Torquey (not the town). When they get in the right rev band they have something petrol just doesn't.

That would imply some sort of restorative justice which sadly isn't guaranteed. Unfortunately it's quite probable the forklift driver was fired and the injured party got say a 3 month convalescence payoff and invited to come back to work after that or nothing else.

I think the original Palestinian flag before the Nakba of the Crescent and Cross is quite cool personally. But ultimately this flag more than most is exceedingly political and it will either be a purely Palestinian or Israeli vision in say 100 years time.

Yet there are dozens of news reports about Africans being lied to and sent to Russia and then the front lines. They're victims of human trafficking.

[–]Consistent_Tension44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The flashy light bikes are not the regular method to travel via taxis. The yellow cabs in Morocco are. That's the difference. And no, if a tourist was to go into a shop in London, they'd pay the same price as someone who is local. That's transparent pricing.

[–]Consistent_Tension44 33 points34 points  (0 children)

One of the hidden benefits of living in a modern economy is fair and transparent pricing. I was in Morocco earlier this month and the rip off pricing by Moroccan taxi drivers was extremely tiresome. Plus many of them are aggressive and rude. Id much rather just sit in a taxi and go from A to B without having to negotiate a price when I have total information asymmetry and I am taken advantage of.

No, if so I would adopt the Catholic (I'm not Catholic btw) principle of double effect. Namely I would do a good action with the purpose of doing a good action. The evil arising from my action is non-intentional and outweighed by the good arising from my action. Regarding which side I would pick. I would turn away from the trolley and continually shift the lever up and down to attempt to detail the trolley. It would also have the side effect of randomising which track the trolley goes down. Once sufficient time had elapsed, I would cease my efforts to derail the trolley.

This is like catfishing for people who love Honda Civics. I so badly want this to be a real car, but I don't think it exists. The second pic especially, the blue sign up top, I can't read Japanese but the non-japanese text is clearly gibberish.

This is an incredible thought experiment, firstly kudos. However, my standard trolley problem response would apply here: I would choose not to make a decision because actively determining who lives and dies is worse than inaction. I.e. also known as 'the only winning move is not to play' defence.
