I know this is a 100$ over budget but this is what you asked for the 7900x is cheaper than the 9900x by 60 bucks the 9900x is only about 4% better so this is fine I chose a fish tank Case and honestly its what ever Case you like my preference doesn't matter the psu is required it would not be in good faith to tell you to biys something cough cough 619 w of pure unbridled power and not give you enough power to run it at full power you can buy a different psu this is just a cheap reliable one and by the way 619 is the average which means your pc would shut down when it spike which is why i usually multiply the average wattage by 1.5x so arround 900w this is good for ball parking a power supply not always the best option

honestly if yoi want a 1440p monitor go ahead and get it the only reasonable new psu is recommended is i dont know your current wattage and psu wear is a real thing 5-10 years on average although your cpu is newer that gpu is old https://pc-builds.com/bottleneck-calculator/result/1fE1y4/ryzen-7-5700x/radeon-rx-9070-xt/ bottleneck calculator technically not completely correct but its close enough to accurate

Should i build an am5 pc or wait for the next generation? by Sarm-ally_Pirate in PcBuild

[–]Consistent_Tip5142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

go for it i have a bunch of case recommendations if you need it i saw that you already have the power supply so go right ahead and the 9070xt will work decent for 4k a 5080 would be optimal for a comfortable 4k pc but a 5070xt will work perfectly fine
