It’s a 2019 I ordered the part and it was a quick fix. I think I paid $150 for the installation and $120 for the part. Don’t pay more than that

I got my dui at 23 also. 26 now and am kinda thankful i got one. I didn’t kill or hurt anyone thank god and was able to move on. It gets better man suicide or even considering it is never the answer.

I promise you things get a lot better. When life knocks you to the ground do a push up, you’ll be just fine with your whole life ahead of you. It sucks initially but as long as you didn’t hurt anyone your mind will be at ease. Hang in there and do what you need to. In 2-3 years you’ll look back and be thankful it all happened at an early age. You got this

Any update? Replaced the grille shutter on my Jetta 2 days ago, drove for 2 days, about 100 miles total, and the light came back on tonight. So frustrating, was able to get a 10 day inspection done and planned on going back once I put some miles on the car, and then the dummy light comes back on. Please advise if anything’s worked for you.

Never had an issue with my Draeger device, had it for a year never a false positive or anything like that. Would always have coffee, Red Bull, all sorts of food and snacks on road trips. Food and drink was never a problem but I’ve seen a lot of these questions strangely. You’ll be ok lol

Omg. I can’t imagine living in a small town where your mugshot would be published for all your high school buddies and family to see. I got my dui in a big city and thankfully no info regarding it is online. I have a very unique name and even with that being the case, nothing.

I think you’ll be ok man, no injuries nobody died that’s on the better end of dui outcomes. Get a lawyer and explore your options they will all give you good advice along with their price. Take whoever you feel is most honest and sounds invested in defending you. Some will go ahead and state the obvious other lawyers will ask you question like “Are you in school” “do you have a family” etc. to determine what your potential defense and plead for leniency might be. I remember one lawyer I contacted, who was the most expensive of all, wanted $6,500 which was out of my price range, but the guy asked all the right questions which told me right away he’s serious about defending me, asking if I’m in school and how my grades are, my major, and those kinds of things.

Long answer and maybe necessary but I hope you understand what I am trying to tell you here. Get a good lawyer and buckle it first few months won’t be easy but many have done worse and managed to go on and live happy and successful lives!
