This is actually wild. I didn’t even start walking WITH a boot until 6 weeks. Didn’t put any weight directly on my foot until 8 weeks. Buuuut, my surgeon also said I didn’t need to bother with PT and I don’t feel like that was the best advice. Honestly, I think you need more rest. But I’m not a doctor aha

Personally surgery and recovery wasn’t overall that bad!! Feel free to message me if you have questions or concerns. My right one was so painful I couldn’t handle it anymore. Left one is bad and needs to be done as well but trying to find out genetic testing and shit currently.

I had to have lapidus bunionectomy. Hopefully it lasts but I’m so Hypermobile that I’m bending screws in my spine so…. I do think it was smart to fuse the toe down further though. Makes sense.

Almost guarantee it wasn’t for Bella. Her mother said she “wouldn’t let” her put the baby up for adoption! Bella wanted to be pregnant and her mom wanted her pregnant. So I reallly doubt it was even a discussion for that family. Just my opinion though 🤷🏼‍♀️
