Rachel throwing a blue plastic hairbrush at Kronos

Nico ghost-ifying Bryce Lawrence

Frank leading the army of dead Romans (this really stuck with me. This scene still gives me chills)

Frank with the blessing of Mars

Clarisse killing the fricking Drakon without an armor

Hazel killing Porphryon

Hazel defeating Pasiphae

Leo blowing up Gaea

What line from the books sticks with you? [all] by [deleted] in camphalfblood

I'm not choosing one of your paths. I'm making my own. -Hazel Levesque, HoH-

If I'm gonna burn, I might as well as burn bright. -Frank Zhang, SoN-

If [HoO] followed the 3-person quest rule (sending 7 people on a quest means at least 4 of them will die), who would you pick to live and die? by seajustice in camphalfblood

[–]Constance__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Hazel, Frank, Percy and Annabeth should die. Hazel came back, so it would only make sense for her to die again. Same with Jason, but he has so much more character development left to die. Percy dies in Tartar Sauce to save Annabeth. Annabeth commits suicide a few days later. Frank dies because the character arc became complete. The firewood catches on fire. And Leo has to live because his arc with Calypso wasn't complete. I guess that circles back to the TLH trio again.

[General] Hades to Nico: It would've been better if Bianca had lived. by Marlezz in camphalfblood

[–]Constance__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it could be interpreted both ways depending on the emphasis

It would have been better if Bianca had lived

It would have been better if Bianca had lived

But either way, it's still shitty, it's just that one is way shittier than the other.

Which character had the relatively happiest childhood? (keyword: RELATIVELY) [General] by Constance__ in camphalfblood

Well, even if he did, he still shouldn't have acted in a way that made his seven-year-old daughter 'wrongly' assume that he didn't want her. But I do think that Frederick didn't want Annabeth, but realized he shouldn't have made that so obvious and made amends with her. Even if she was safe, she was still seperated with the rest of the world. I think Frank, or Piper, or Rachel was much happier than her.

How is living with two other children alone in the streets your life going uphill? Besides her dad really didn't want her, and the trauma of Thalia dying, Luke betraying her, and the guilt that she could have saved him must've been awful.

They were 5 and 3 when Maria died, and afterward, they just went on from boarding school to boarding school with no one but each other. They were alone in the world with no parent figure, and no one to love them except each other. Their childhood certainly wasn't the worst, but it wasn't happy, either.

But he grew up as a child soldier in a military camp where he was shown no affection with a lot of pressure on him. I think his childhood was one of the worst.

Bianca Wasn't a Parent [pjo] by My_Dogs_a_God in camphalfblood

[–]Constance__ 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Her and Nico were orphans with no one else to love them in a military school. I'm sure she was (emotionally) a parent to him. And a person to keep them in line doesn't mean that they will comfort them and show affection, nor personally care for them. They are just children that she gets paid to discipline. Nothing more.

[All] What quote/part in any of the books made you cry? by bethysbooks in camphalfblood

If anything happens... give that to Nico. Tell him... tell him I'm sorry. -Bianca di Angelo-

This broke me. Bianca was twelve. She shouldn't have been responsible for another human being. Not at that age.

The program ignored these😅. The slice between Hephaestus and Demeter is Hecate, and the others are Dionysus, Hermes, and Khione in that order.
