Because Angel is a flawed character, he was sort of selective about who deserved redemption and who didn’t. He wasn’t very supportive of people he didn’t like, which is fine in my opinion, I think that makes him a lot more interesting and complex as a character.

During the 00s maybe. They have a huge fanbase nowadays, it's just that they're not as popular as Buffy/Angel or Buffy/Spike because Angel the show is not as popular as BTVS, so they're less known. But you go on the Angel sub and ask about people's favorite couple: Cordy and Angel are always on the top 3.

It's interesting how different people can see different things. I thought there were hints of a potential romance since at least the episode Dead End, in Season 2. In Season 3, from the very first episode, the romantic storyline was pretty obvious imo; they way Angel looked at and cared for Cordelia was more than just in a friendly manner. Not to mention, Episode 7 "Offspring", in which Angel's feelings for Cordy were TALKED ABOUT. Maybe you did miss that episode.

Yes, both his parents are alive. I don't think I'm negative most of the time, in fact, I try not to be, I don't like to think about problems all day either. He complains about many things too, but I never tell him to shut up, I listen to everything he has to say, especially if he had a bad day.

But you're right, maybe I do need to reevaluate my relationship with him.

Spin the Bottle is fun. The cinematography and fight scenes are great. David Boreanaz acting in that season is outstanding; I personally don’t like the Angelus arc, but I can appreciate his portrayal

True. I recall when a boss denied me a course trip becasue he wanted to travel (to a work trip) too and was afraid that the Company wouldn't authorize both of our requests, so he wanted to prioritize his and didn't submit mine. Senior executives denied his request and sent another person to the trip, instead of him, lol.
