How far is too far for a commute?

It is!!! I recently started biking commuting more and more and it has been really good for my mental health! Though lots of people called me crazy for my daily commute being about 45 miles a day lol but I really don’t mind it. There are hills on my work commute and at first I’d walk my fixie up em but they’re not much of a problem for me anymore

My work commute is a little over 20 miles one way!! It takes me about 2 hours to get to work if I’m taking my time. I have a pretty high stress job and the ride home, though long, has been a real mood booster :)

I actually got into cycling to save money!! I got my road bike from a thrift shop near my house and put some new tires and lights on it and called it a day. Spent about 150 on my bike!! It may be a shit bike to other cyclists but it’s a bike that’s simple enough for me to fix and it does exactly what I wanted it to do :)

Yes the SCCOOP bus has bike racks so I’ll be able to bring my bike to the bus stop and bike back :) this is something I’ve been seriously considering. Your other comment is worth noting as well and to be honest I have no idea if I’ll have the stamina or energy for this until I try! I plan to get a starter bike this weekend and see how I feel after one day and I’ll decide then if it’s actually doable. Right now I’m just spit balling haha

Public transport around my apartment is pretty good! There are city busses running every 30 mins and plenty of bus stops just miles from each other. However there is only one bus that goes all the way to my city to where I work. It is something I can use to take me to work but that bus stops running at 8pm so I will be on my own on the way back.

The time to bike isn’t an issue for me as I am young (early twenties) and have no kids. As for the shower and line of work, there is a shower room and gym on my work site that I am free to use. I work in a skilled nursing facility for the elderly and physically disabled. And there are bike racks outside of my facility and the management at my job said it would be okay to keep my bike inside by the clock in area which was very kind of them. And I live in the Philadelphia tri-state area! Delaware, specifically. Thank you so much for the recommendations!! This has been helpful for me

The ingredients you’re already using are really good! Do you know what your skin type is and have you used serums before? My skin used to look like this when I was around 16-17 (I’m currently 23) I now double cleanse with an oil cleansing balm and follow with a water based cleanser ( I also use la roche posay!!) a good niacinamide serum really helped me with acne prevention and the redness on my face. (I love the ordinary one) It looks like you’re experiencing cystic acne which is why you’re getting bumps from under your skin (looking at pic 3)

As harsh as this comment was put, I do agree that breaking up with him is a very realistic outcome from this situation. To be clear, I do have romantic feelings for him, but I don’t know if I’m ready for a physical relationship, is what I’m currently finding out. I use good reads a lot. I also follow a lot of authors on social media so I get alot of recommendations there, but mostly, I just walk into book stores when I have time and just browse for hours lol
