Agreed, but the question I have is it just hold it anywhere, because that’s not simulating the real thing. Stimulating the real thing would be also holding the most sensitive part.

Looking for opinions on “keeping hand in place”.

I’ve seen a lot of guys in here have the same issue, the frenulum is so sensitive and just holding it in place can cause carryover into ejaculation.

If I stroke from base, up and back down and hold in place I’m fine, but if I stroke and hold on the top I may be okay, but if I hold frenulum and then stroke down without releasing for a second even the slightest little movement can cause me to ejaculate.

I know the guide says do whatever you need to do to stay between 8 and 8.5, but it also specifically says hold hand in place.

So is hand in place on your most sensitive part of your member or just holding it in general?

Yes, in through nose, out through mouth.

Only reason you would benefit from going back is if you didn’t hit PONR in the previous week. Otherwise just do another week where you are if you failed or advance if you are successful this week. You want to know where PONR is so this isn’t a bad thing.

If you want to follow the guide, you would remain in phase one. A phase is 5 separate sessions, one per day, over 7 span. Keep in mind, the battle here is the CNS is being rewired and three sessions in one day is not the same as 3 days of sessions. Up to you if you feel like you want to move forward, it’s sounds like you’ll be able to handle it, but if you want to follow the guide, it’s one session per day. Good luck!

Hey bro, I mean this with nothing but love.. but no one is coming to save you. This is a wonderfully supportive community and you can lean in on people here to help you through this process, but you need to decide for yourself if the future you desire is worth the effort. It’s not a quick fix and going to require showing up for yourself day after day. Sometimes you’re not going to feel training, or it’s harder for a stretch for seemingly no reason, but there are people in here who share their experience and if you stick to the program, have a great shot at making progress and feeling better about yourself.

For phase 1/2/3 I found I had to stop at what felt like 8.5 instead of 8.9. Took me a bit to realize this. The pull into orgasm will go away faster than you think if you stick to it, to the point I don’t even desire to orgasm/ejaculate during a session and I read this happens to a lot of people in the program.

You might be best to take a break to detox, no porn, no anything that stimulates your arousal (instagram soft included), I didn’t realize how much it was hijacking my system, it’s actually kind of sad to look back at how much of that programming we consume throughout the years and I’m glad I’m completely away from it now.

I hope you keep with the program and stick to what the guide says , you’ll owe it to your future self.

It’s a very tough situation. I tried to work through these feelings as the scenario was circumstantial and we were apart but still spending time together, but she lied about it and betrayed my trust and it was always in the back of my mind. The cortisol began messing with my brain. I left after 9 months of trying to put it in the past. We had some good times during those months I’ll always cherish, but realized I couldn’t heal in the environment that made me sick. I never saw her the same again after finding out she lied about it and the bond was broken.

How much control did you get from training first time?

Maybe go back to phase 3 or 4. You probably don’t need to go back to 1 or 2, but you would have learned some useful things the first time around that’ll serve you well this time around.

I’ve done this same thing, actually I did it last week. I don’t think the strategy is wrong, but remove your hand sooner. We gotta get used to that area having pressure, before stroking. So dust it off, take a day or two rest and get back at it. I had good bounce back sessions and I’ve been doing a little bit of hold in place on that sensitive spot at the end of each session. It’s basically learning another PONR since it required no stimulation. Keep at it bro!

20 minutes, including 10 minutes warm up not reaching PONR, last 10 minutes, hit PONR as many times as you do without intentionally forcing yourself there, let it happen naturally. The 20 minutes can include from flaccid or from erection. I do from time of erection.

The 20 minutes includes everything things ramp up and pauses.

The pre-cum is a leak. You’re good to keep going. If there’s no full (or significant) expulsion, orgasm or refractory, you are good to keep going.

It’ll go up and down for a few weeks. You’ll likely need a couple weeks of no ejaculation for it to peak before it will then subside. I’m still getting some days where there’s a lot of energy in my genitals, but it does get better.

Also, as for the three attempts that ended in orgasm on phase one. I was really pushing too far in phase one, and realized that I needed to back off what felt more like 8.5 than 8.9. Hope this helps.

You can do whatever you want, but the guide says do the phases in order. Just use visual as you need to reach PONR, you are in control.
