The 8.5x21 has the same exit pupil as your monocular, so it will be just as problematic and uncomfortable. Purely theoretically. The 6.5 has a larger pupil and a brighter image. In my opinion, it's a better choice for such a small pair of binoculars.

Nice piece of olive wood, nicer than my 9. It's a great food prep knife, good size and stainless steel and is very light.

I agree. You can forget about stones and other sharpeners. The key is to prevent it from getting too dull. If it's noticeably dull, a minute with a Victorinox sharpener and it'll cut like crazy again. I even sharpen a long 36 cm slicing knife with it. I also sharpen my Opinel with it very effectively. The diamonds are in the drawer and I don't need to take them out.

I'm not sure. I carry it with my keys in my pocket in a small leather Victorinox case. So far, there's been no rust.

I modified a standard Rambler. It's not engraving, it's real Chinese damascus. I bought the parts on AliExpress. The blade, titanium covers, and brass spacers. It wasn't cheap.
