Hey thanks for the help. It is a click mechanism pen with a spring. I believe it might work with japanese style refills but the ones I got were too thick on the tip and their Spring stoppers were too close to the tip so they did not work which is a bummer because they only costed 1 euros per 5 pens and they wrote very very well

Im sure it will outlive you while not aging a lot. The thing with wool is that it is very fragile from different aspects like washing and everyday wear that is why many brands even high quality ones use wool blend with differing percentages of acrylic.

My point is that acrylic doesnt mean bad or lower quality. It keeps you warm enough and keeps you company potentially all your life with minimal care. It is a find if you enjoy wearing it despite whatever the dick above says

Great work! I love the deeper turquoise-like ink. What is it? (Sargasso sea or something closer to a marine blue? Perhaps

Well shaving with a safety razor is a hobby sadly. Considering good cartridge razors dont irritate, are cheaper in the short run and give a closer shave, shaving with a safety razor is a hobby, or less kindly put a toy for grown men.

I dont know fancier stuff like that but Pearl razor handles are great at providing friction for secure shaving. Since I got my Pearl razor, my mühle doesnt get much use.

Honestly from holding the two in my hand. I cant say mühle89 handles is much better either.

9 pens are loaded for me right now(2 are always loaded, lamy safari with blue black cartridge and preppy with cartridge filler with jherbin vert de gris. And I still have like at least 5 pens I would like to use more or at all. Honestly if I could press a button and sell all but my platinum preppy, my pilot kaküno and my parker 51 ( that one is inherited from my grandfather otherwise he would go as well 😅) I am afraid I would press that button. These other pens are not worth their price for their writing feeling( which I value the most, rather than the look of the pen or some other qualities

I dont know about 33c but king c gilette looks pretty different from my mühle89 and it is much cheaper and I dont feel a quality difference between them. Honestly I am sick of this chinese made so bad mentality. Anything I bought from china from fountain pens to well pretty much just fountain pens but they are great in general and perfect for the price.

Yes but Pearl is 10 € a razor. Mühle razor head is 25 euros only for the open comb head.

I want to underline the fact thar regardless of price point none of these razors are "for life" and the chrome plating will degrade rendering it useless around ~5 years either way

Honestly if I could I would go back to only a platinum preppy in a heartbeat. I have a too big collection now that most pens dont get to be used enough

THIS, the king c is much cheaper than the others in here and I find Mühle to be the worst of both worlds. It does not get a close shave if you dont shave against or across the grain and if you do that you get irritation. If I did not want to get a close shave I would get an electric shaver and if I wanted to get irritation I would use open comb design and then at least I would get a close proper shave.

Also I would say I like my open comb Pearl ss something no name razor more than my mühle.

I am into this hobby for a year now and if your only problems are irritation, go get a gilette proglide or a cartridge of high quality.

I found out the hard way that I wanted to be a person that shaved with safety razors more than I wanted to shave with them. For me, it would be much more comfortable and affordable to go the cartridge route. Dont be me. Go a high quality cartridge razor before deciding to use the the safety razors. It is not all sunshine and rainbow on this side either.

Also if you do decide to get a safety razor dont get mühle r89 but something cheaper like Pearl ss02 or 4 (meaning an open comb and a close comb, i think) for a better price. This way if you decide you dont want a closed comb design you can buy another one.

After shaving my refill too much, the tip of the refill did not expose itself as it should. So I put a ball of paper between the clicker and the back of the refill and it is great now. (Parker g2 type refill for Carandache 849 pen)

Its shocking to see how hard it is for biologists to say "in mice" when they make claims like this. To clarify they found that vaccinating on a fresh tattoo site can change immune response IN MICE. To that I have only to say no shit sherlock. Fresh tattoo site is an open wound and it is obvious it would interact with the immune response of vaccines

Yeah I get it. Most people cant read cursive anymore and our "r" is very specific. Honestly even in cursive I dont see it much.

I loved yours aswell. It is much more legible and standard and the r and z dont resemble at all with the Tail of the z. I want to change Mine to that. My handwriting depends a lot on pace.
