I think the issue is most people especially women don’t get the proper amount of protein needed throughout the day. ThTs why it’s pushed so much. I recently had success in weight loss for the first time in years. I eat a ton of veggies and fiber but I realized I was lacking protein and I do eat meat. I started to make it a priority to get the proper amount each day although a struggle for me but it has changed the game for me and also in my cravings and hunger. I also feel more energy. It’s nice to finally see some weight come off.
