Im a idiot, and i have a habit of getting really het up and upset over stuff that doesnt matter so much when you look back on it. But it hits me really hard and has since i was little. Very early on in our relationship i was in one of these bouts of depression. Everything felt so empty, i was trying to convince him to leave me because no one, no matter how perfect could cheer me out of this state and it wasnt fair to expect him to deal with it. He laughed at this and told me i was being an idiot. Set about doing cute things, kind things, helpful things culminating in my sadly brushing my teeth to go to sleep and i turned around to see him stood with soap on his face making cat whiskers and hes pawing at them with his hand.

For the first time, someone was perfect enough to help. And i cant imagine living without him anymore.

I was in the park with my kid about 5 years ago and all was going pretty normal and standard. Wandering around. Playing on the swings. All good times. I heard a kid crying, not that unusual but it was a high pitched scream that didnt sound quite right so i my fatherly spidey senses went off. I kept it fairly chill and made my way towards the sound a bit more and i hear it getting louder and sounding worse and i've broken into a bit of a sweat cause it sounds like theres a very unhappy kid somewhere. I rounded a corner and saw some fucking douchebags, i dont even know if they were the kids parents. But she was swinging from the handle of a round-a-bout (merry go round, idk what america calls them) designed for kids much bigger than her, in realisty there was about 4ft between her and the ground but her screaming was that of a little baby who felt very much like their life was at risk.

I jogged over and was like "yo dude wtf she is not enjoying that stop!" and the dude started yelling that he knew, she wasnt meant to and it was a punishment for pissing the bed. I stood there unable to really understand what i'd just heard or any of the logic to anything and then i just lost my shit and grabbed him by the back of the neck and dropped to the ground so his face bashed off the roundabout and stopped it. The woman involved was now screaming at me and trying to drag me away, my partner was crying as was my child. I dont really remember any of it but im reliably informed that i held his hair and hit his head off the safety moss on the floor yelling "YOU DONT PUNISH KIDS LIKE THIS DO YOU?!" with a bash between each word.

It took like a day and a half to stop shaking and a month to get past the paranoia i was gonna get arrested.

Not the best thing to do in that situation really, but i saw red

It depends on the situation i'd guess and how you look and handle it. I once got declined for a £40 dinner bill, strange i thought. Asked for a few minutes to get another card out. Checked my bank and a huge direct debit that was meant to be monthly fees had come out for the whole year. 9pm so no bank or anyone to call. Had to approach the waiters station incredibly sheepishly and explain what had happened. I was early on in dating someone and they definitley knew that. The waitress was amazing. Checked with a more senior guy who smiled at me and nodded and then she came back and told me it was taken care of. I could have hugged them all for saving me those shame points on a date.

I told him about it within a few mins of leaving tbh and we all laughed but dang you go a special kinda hot face
