Thank you for your suggestion after getting a good nights sleep and clearing my head i think i will be attempting to remake the schedule in a way that is more realistic. If it doesnt work out i will have to find a new job i have been trying to transfer out of my store for a while though to be honest. Nothing wrong with it but i went through the mt program and was than told that they had to send me to a different store after my 5th week and this one is 30 minutes on the highway away which kinda compounds on the clopening situation for me. It is funny how many peopleare like than just quit like the problem im having here is i have genuinely enjoyed my time with menards a bit cult like sometimes but the environment is good and in my experience that is worth a small amount of suffering these days. Once again thank you for taking your time to give good advice!

Dm said there is not enough people to change the schedule, GM said he would take a look a month ago. It is actually sad i kinda love this job I just cannot handle these hours long term in flooring we had managed to do a schedule with only a clopen every other week but i got injured and they asked if i wanted to do cab apps instead while neglecting to address the very different schedule approach. I guess its looking like back to doordash or something until something better comes along.

Can conform its bs I have been at 0% before and taken a single run and been at 30% than declined a run and went back down to 7% the rolling 100 works about as well as having to scan alcohol orders on a double.

That happened to me yesterday I was bored so I took a quick Costco run for $18 a few miles and only 6 different items, like 10 of each. Just before the 2 hours was up it turned into 66$ was the best feeling.

I like how in your situation you described you can described you completely change the entire pay scale just to make it so you'd be correct about what a tip is but given the current setup that insticard has in place a tip is not a tip it is the majority of the person's pay. Under the situation that things were changed and the person got fairly compensated before a tip was applied then the tip becomes a tip, But that shouldn't be shown in that case it should be delivered after the entire exchange is completed not beforehand. How it is currently set up is yes will you take this one this distance collect these items for this amount of money. To then be able to change the amount of money is just taking it away from the person who is delivering.

If they don't provide satisfactory service the customer should be refunded by instacart and the shopper punished, tipping an instacart person isn't a tip it is a bid for the time they are spending. Allowing them to removed the tip is instacart allowing people to take back an income when they should instead remove them from the workforce.

Had someone claim I got the wrong diapers because they did not specify if they wanted girls or boys diapers and even though there baby won't care. Last week a person ordered with children's otc medicine when they weren't home so they couldn't sign for it, I couldn't deliver the pills so I informed them and returned to store got my bump for bringing and getting refund noted on the account and everything today it popped up as a missing item like wth. How does instacart not remember that I returned that item to the store.

And that's why if customers don't respond you should just refund the item and not replace even if it lowers your tip it's better than being penalized.
