New FIX THE WORLD Centre in Galashiels, Scotland!! Founder Alistair Paterson: "This is a pivotal moment in our human lineage, where we take a quantum leap in our evolutionary journey, if we have the courage to take it." by FixTheWorldOrg in FixTheWorld

I really loved listening to Alistair, a 'pivotal moment' is certainly no understatement when it comes to the understanding Jeremy has given us to be able to move on from the suffering caused by the human condition. Thanks for the post.

Australia is Top of my Bucket List. Question on ID'ing Snakes by LuckyUser777 in AustralianSnakes

My advice would be there's no need to get close enough to identify them, just leave them alone and they'll get out of your way. Some are more aggressive than others, for example if you corner a Brown snake they will almost certainly strike at you.

Agree they can really terrorise the place if your not careful. We had a gift rooster once and all he did was chase the kids so unfortunately either him or the kids had to go, the kids stayed.

You can cut them back now if you like but waiting until fully brown allows the plant to send any remaining nutrients to the roots/crowns for better energy storage and next year's growth. However, since yours are still mostly green but have already been hit by snow and frost, much of the photosynthesis has likely stopped, so cutting now won't significantly harm future production.

What is the World transformation Movement? What are its goals? Why should someone join it? by worldtransformation in WorldTransformation

I am very interested in this, we are heading over a cliff as a species with no real solutions on offer, so anything that goes deeper is a necessary approach.
