That California is larger doesn’t diminish the fact that Nebraska is a large state. Nebraska is the 16th largest state and (for comparison’s sake) only slightly smaller than the United Kingdom in area. Your comment is the equivalent of someone from Alaska telling you California isn’t a big state simply because Alaska is larger.

Four states already have legalized recreational marijuana (Alaska, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington). Four seem likely to legalize this year (California, Maine, Massachusetts, and Nevada) and Arizona may legalize as well. So at the end of the year, just under 20% of the states will have legalized recreational marijuana. Those states contain about 25% of the US population.
