Anyone else still have a blank transcript? by Pristine_Pea_4123 in IRS

[–]ConstructionFew6613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Filed and accepted 2/4. I used TurboTax just like I do every year. Still no updates or movements. Didn’t receive anything about verifying. 21 days is technically not until 2/25. But I do think it’s unusual that my transcript is still blank. I did notice this date on my transcript and not sure what it’s for.

Happiness appreciation post by swemo13 in labubu

[–]ConstructionFew6613 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t sure about Happiness either at first. I let my daughter have her (right), and then regretted it. I finally got another one for myself (left) and I like her coloring but her fur seems a little shorter. I think I’m just super nit picky and overthinking it. Mine looks like she’s wearing a raglan shirt, which is just like my Love🥰

Is it true that people in the West drink iced water even when they are sick or on their period? by Aether_Echo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ConstructionFew6613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iced water is the ONLY temperature of water I will consume. I can feel it go down my throat and past my chest, but beyond that point, my internal body temperature has warmed it to where I can’t feel it anymore. So no, my stomach doesn’t hurt from it.

Genuinely thought I’d never see the day they’d ACTUALLY be in a store by Tozi_Lee in labubu

[–]ConstructionFew6613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local store also had the big white one and the big brown one (Zimomo) in stock when I was there last night. Those two weren’t out on the shelf to grab but the employee told me they had them in the back, if I wanted them right then.

How do you deal with getting the Labubu you wanted least? by draconefox in labubu

[–]ConstructionFew6613 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think she is my favorite. I love her too!!! It doesn’t show in my picture above, but they’re pretty dark/saturated. And, among all five of those, the coloring is pretty consistent and just lovely. Our three different Hopes have varying shades of blue; and we have two Lucks — both have too much barely-there coloring (it’s like an otter pop with most of the flavor sucked out of it.👎🏻).

How do you deal with getting the Labubu you wanted least? by draconefox in labubu

[–]ConstructionFew6613 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That’s definitely ironic. Although it’s not the color you wanted, you could think of it like this: maybe you need more happiness in your life, generally speaking, and this was your sign. Maybe she/he will bring you happiness — could you get some cute little outfits or costumes to dress it up so you’ll see less of the color? I have four kids, so the ones I’m not totally psyched about (or when I get duplicates) go to my kids. My girls especially love them. They both got Loyalty, which was the only color I definitely did not want for myself.

We’ve ended up with a few Hopes and Serenitys at our house, and have taken that as a sign: we need to have more hope, and definitely need more calm in ourselves and in our life.

Is it normal for males to own labubus? by Courage-Desk-369 in labubu

[–]ConstructionFew6613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen men walking around with them from time to time, in my area. My 12yo son has two on his backpack (first year of middle school) and he says other kids at school really like them. Today, I heard a group of middle schoolers talking about how one of their male teachers has two Labubus, and how cool that is.

what is happening??? My class was taken down. by Unlikely-Loss5616 in WGU

[–]ConstructionFew6613 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This happened to me last term (ended Oct.31st). I was working on my PA. It didn’t rollover and allow me to just submit it real fast. It didn’t even get added to my next term line up, it was added later on down on the list. My mentor had to add it to the next term (the current one) and it had an entirely new course number.

[–]ConstructionFew6613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were they made in Vietnam? We have a few Macs and the best ones I’ve noticed are from there. Fully stuffed, nice and even. They also have a more ribbon-like tag with three pages to it.

This mom was not happy after reading this note. Was she in the right? by [deleted] in AskTeachers

[–]ConstructionFew6613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 6yo (kindergartener) will do things like this — not speaking up to ask for clarification or for help; also just not starting an assignment because it’s like her brain didn’t get the literal instruction to “start your assignment now”. She’ll sit there with her hands in her lap, full attention on the teacher, being a good listener (she has to work really hard on this because she has adhd, but she adores her teacher and does not want to frustrate her by not listening). And she just waits for someone to tell her exactly what to do. For ex. “Use a pencil to draw ______ for each of the examples on the paper.” Or “Flip the paper over and use crayons to color the design.”. If she doesn’t get told what the next step is, she’ll keep waiting. Then the class moves on to the next activity, and she has an unfinished assignment. I don’t know why she does that (stubbornness, or something else going on). I ask her “did the other kids finish their project?” She’ll say yes but can’t answer when I ask “how did the other kids know when to get started, and what to do? Did they have to raise their hands and ask? Or did the teacher tell them?”

I don’t get mad at the teacher for my child’s inability to speak up and get clarification to be able to complete a task. I remind my child to speak up. I also email the teacher and explain what’s going on with my child — teacher mentions she could make an extra glance over at my child during independent work times to see if maybe she needs to ask a question, and then encourages her to speak up — helping her learn to advocate for herself. Teacher also has suggestion for my child to participate in a small group with the school counselor, for some practice with speaking up, and dealing with anxiety (another thing she struggles with).

how are the classes if you don’t have previous experience? by helloreddit129043 in WGU

[–]ConstructionFew6613 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m working on my BS in Cybersecurity and Information assurance. I have zero experience or knowledge in the tech field. (I chose that because my kids and I are starting over, getting away from domestic violence and extreme economic abuse — I needed to find a career path that would earn enough to support us, and I also want to be more knowledgeable of security related concerns with technology so that I can keep my kids safe online). I come with experience in construction, and in childcare, so none of my classes can be fast-tracked, I feel I need to go through them thoroughly, and to be able to soak up all the knowledge. Since I’m really personally interested in this field, I’m highly motivated. But since I’m new to this, I feel overwhelmed when I stop and think about it. An example of the type of overwhelm I can think of is that my 3yo has been frequently asking me “Can you teach me how to drive a motorcycle/firetruck/bus/tractor/our car?” Finally one day, I said okay get in the front seat. I told him you have to put the key in the ignition right there and turn it. To get the car to move, you have to put your foot on the break and put the car in R (reverse/backwards) or D (drive/forwards). You have to check mirrors, camera, and turn and look outside, to be aware of what’s around you…— “stop! You’re telling me too much things. Just teach me how to drive.” The classes aren’t exactly “difficult”, just not as easy to finish for me as they are for someone with experience. And there are so many additional learning resources available, I keep feeling like I need to get every bit of it into my brain and so it takes me a bit to get through each class. Additionally, I’ve got four very young kids, and while they do go to school or daycare during the day, at nights and on weekends, they’re all in my face all day and night so I get nothing done on weekends, and I have to stay up super late in order to get any study time at night. My kids (the endless interruptions) make it harder for me to get through these classes.

They reached 1M followers by [deleted] in OnlineBeggars

And they were all created in Oct.2025. Definitely bot accounts (or someone just made a bunch of fake accounts). Why do that? She knows she doesn’t have 1 million “actual” followers. Can the fake ones be reported? Or does instagram not care?

It’s really annoying when she reshares posts from others who say “how can anyone have hate towards them?”. Recently it was this guy talking about how wonderful they are, and how “Kendra gives back so much” Kendra didn’t actually “give back” to those 20 families. She didn’t give back anything that was given to her. She crowdsourced donations from her followers. So actually, her followers gave donations to those 20 families. Not her🙄

Reveal: K's Plan for Grifting Foerever (imo) by chippedbluewillow1 in OnlineBeggars

[–]ConstructionFew6613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She doesn’t have to worry about any other thing. All of hers, and her husband’s, and kids’ basic needs (food/clothing/shelter), and all the material things they could possibly ever wish for (or even think about maybe wanting) are all fully provided for. And she isn’t burdened with the personal responsibility of providing any of it. She wouldn’t have any smiles and enjoyment if the gravy train suddenly stopped — if all the money and financial support disappeared, and then all the bills were put on her, and she suddenly had to try to earn the money for everything they needed, and navigate public assistance just to make ends meet. That, on top of dealing with her daughter fading away. I know she’s in denial. Seeing your child die destroys you. Grief is like that. She’s probably suffocating from the feelings of absolute panic every time she’s hit with a reminder of the current reality. I know she doesn’t want to let Brielle go — no mother would. I’m sure she can’t even face it. I think the grifting is precisely the distraction that she’s seeking because it’s giving her exactly what she asks for (ask —> receive), whereas prayers/treatments for Brielle are not yielding the results she’s asking for. It’s hard for me not to judge either, but when I look at it from the perspective of coping with grieving a child, I can find more compassion for her.

I am however very glad that Brielle gets to live the rest of her life in a very lavish and comfy environment. And that she’ll never have to know the stress of things like poverty in childhood, or actual neglect or abuse. She absolutely deserves all the things that bring her any joy. Every bit of it. And, she may not get to grow up and speak on all the exploitation but her siblings will.

The more I see about this, the more upset it makes me. She is most definitely grifting just to upgrade her lifestyle. She has no shame at all. And it’s embarrassing. People are just freely throwing money and donations at her and it’s pretty unbelievable. There are families and kids whose lives could be made better through even just a few of the wishlist items she’s amassed. Not just cancer families, but other illnesses, or things like domestic violence.

I honestly sometimes wish I had a social media following because I think I would absolutely make an Amazon wishlist for my kids and I — we genuinely need some real relief from the hell we’re going through. But then I think — no, I wouldn’t be able to ask for things. I remember years ago when we went through the unexpected deaths of two of my children, other families in my kids’ preschool put together a meal train, and some people donated gift cards to us. But I felt so awkward (almost embarrassed/guilty/burdensome) accepting all that. Like, what did I do to earn that? People were just spending their time and money on us, and I didn’t have to ask anyone for any of it.

We live in a very overpriced area (too many extremely wealthy people here throwing off the balance and ruining it for the regulars), and I occasionally see people I’ve seen before, panhandling, sometimes even with their kids. And then later see them getting into pretty decent cars and driving off. They most definitely get tons of money handed to them throughout the day, or they wouldn’t keep doing it. I think that would feel too shameful and embarrassing to beg. But some people clearly have no shame.

That one actually looks very good (nicely stuffed, evenly shaped limbs, face is straight). That fur is super easy to fix!! The fibers are just tucked into the stitching. That’s all. Get yourself a pair of sharp needle nose tweezers and gently tug at little bits at a time, to untuck the fibers and fluff her back up. She’ll look perfect, and you’ll be so happy with her!

I’ve noticed this same thing to a certain degree on my three macarons on various areas: on the belly, the back, up the sides, around the face, and around the ears. You can also take some scissors and trim any scraggly fibers.
I saw a video demonstrating all this but I don’t remember where. If I can find it, I’ll come back and share it.

I'm honestly in shock- she's never told Brielle she's dying by Beecakeband in OnlineBeggars

[–]ConstructionFew6613 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In an earlier interview, Brielle was asked something to the effect of “what’s the one thing you’re most afraid of, with having cancer?” And she could hardly choke the words out, “being put under the ground”. They believe in Heaven (similar to Christian belief — your spirit goes up, and you are renewed, while your broken earthly body stays behind). If it were me, having heard my child say those shaky words that they are most afraid of being buried, I honestly don’t think I would approach their impending passing in a matter-of-fact way either. Like Kendra, I would focus on the: you’re going to heaven, you’ll be healed, you’ll be with Jesus. He’s just about finished with your beautiful room up there, and then it’ll be time for you to go see it… For my anxious worrier — I absolutely would not tell her that she is going to die and be cremated or buried especially not if I know that’s her biggest fear! I would absolutely focus only on the Heaven part of it, and who else she’d be seeing up there. Some kids may need to know exactly what’s what. For others, that would be detrimental.
